@Al Voss thanks Al. I was purposely going monochromatic today. I agree with your assessment, in retrospect.

Faux pas or Faux-get about it?
I have seen at least one online source descry the combination of a tie with a sports shirt. I like the look, especially with the more casual pants. Why? The tie conveys authority and position. In my job as a school teacher, I think it is very important to set those boundaries, be at the elementary, middle school, or high school level. And I think I look pretty darn good… ;-)

A Word on Suicidal Ideation, again
Realizing my usual thoughts of suicide were becoming more prevalent and intense, I decided I would see a general practitioner for a referral to counseling. On the way I stopped at Waffle House for a late breakfast. The place was experiencing a temporary lull. Several stools at the counter available. I sat two stools from another man of about 60. I noticed his facial expression. As I sat I could feel his tension. Seconds later I felt his anger. His meal finished, he stood with his check in hand. I said, " wait please. I'll pay your check if you tell me what's going on." He replied, " It's personal!" "Everything thing is personal." "I don't know you! " " Do you know yourself?" He was immediately off balance. " It's not something I want to talk about in public with a stranger!" " Then we can talk in private." I paid his check and he agreed to follow me home. Turns out he went to his family doctor admitting to thoughts of suicide. According to the man, once he spoke to his doctor the doctor said to wait a minute while the doctor could tell his nurse he would be busy for a while. In reality, the doctor told his nurse to call an ambulance. After ten days in a psych ward he was released to a social worker and the police. An Administrative Warrant was issued. All of the man's guns and his knife collection was seized. As was all the medications that had been prescribed. He had to see a therapist once a month but a nurse practitioner twice each week but seldom the same one. I assisted him with stress relief and my phone number. I ain't going to any doctor. End of story.
