Automation of email
Does anyone have details around fully automating emails, responses and setting up calendar invites, not giving payments out or details etc. Just dipping my toe in I've seen recommendations with Make, but really looking for a solid example especially if it's not gmail, but fastmail or something non main stream ? Either way appreciate any guidance - i spent 20 mins washing through rubbish emails so my side quest just kicked in.

Hi, I am trying to upgrade from claude max 5x to max 20x and I keep getting this error message. I have called my bank (no errors on their end), tried multiple cards, and still getting this error message. I have tried talking with the Anthropic help agent and its useless. Any recommendations or advice on what to do here would be great. Thanks!

This usually happens even when the bank is fine — it’s often on the billing system side. A few things that can help: try a different browser or incognito mode, disable VPN/ad blockers, or wait 24–48 hours and try again (sometimes it’s a temporary Stripe/checkout issue). If nothing works, the only real fix is support escalating it internally since multiple cards failing usually points to an account-level flag.

Bare minimum setup ($20–$100/month): - ChatGPT / Claude: ~$20–$30 - Automation tool (n8n self-hosted or Make basic): $0–$20 - Domain + basic hosting: ~$5–$15 - Email tool: often free or ~$10 More “serious” setup ($100–$500/month): - Multiple AI tools (Claude + OpenAI + maybe image/tools): $50–$150 - Make / Zapier / n8n cloud: $20–$100 - Scraping / enrichment tools (Apollo, Apify, etc.): $50–$200 - Cold email + outreach tools: $20–$100 Traffic strategy cost (depends on approach): - Organic (LinkedIn, content): $0, just time - Cold outreach tools: $20–$100 - Ads (optional): $300–$1,000+ if you go paid Real talk: you can start testing for under $100/month, but most people land around $150–$300 once they add proper lead gen tools.
Day 3 Built
Hi everyone, i built a LinkedIn post writer that uses your tone of voice. I did go thruogh it about three times because the first time i noticed that Claude used "—" a lot and I said, nobody but AI uses that, and then it gave me three things listed (example AI is used by computer scientists, lab scientists, mechanics) and told it that is typical AI. I also noticed it used big words like brief, and I told it to tone it down, and go basic, just use the word short. In the end it was getting closer to my voice. I told it that whenever we use it next time, and I see more results, we can always refine it more. It was fun and this is useful knowing that you can always add new skills that Claude can use. Interested to know what i will learn next!

Nice experiment — this is actually a big part of getting good outputs with AI. Iterating on tone and cutting out “AI habits” like em dashes or overly formal wording makes a huge difference. Sounds like you’re building a solid feedback loop with it.
So last month was my best month yet.
I cleared 7k from all my work. But I still have to start at zero this month (I do have one retainer, but still). This is a major problem, because if I need to find new clients every single month, I'm kind of cooked because my earnings will fluctuate between months. I know that this is not a real problem per se. But relationship building takes time, trust takes time. So in most cases you'd rather keep building a relationship with the same client for years. While the opposite of this is a lot of one-offs, which do not grow the business. So to try to mitigate this problem this month, I'll go over all my past work so that I can figure out what else I can offer to the clients I've worked with so far. Because the fact of the matter is that it's far easier to upsell an old client than to try to sell a new one. But you need to be savvy about how you do this, because you need to know what other problems they have. And then figure out how you can solve it for them. I could also think about what problems will come up once I've solved a problem for them. If I sell a WhatsApp lead gen machine, what is the next logical problem that might come up? Follow-ups. So I could upsell a follow-up system so the business can convert more leads. I guess these are the things you're not thinking about while you're in it. But it sure helps to think about them now and then.

Yeah, this is a real shift most freelancers hit at some point. One-off work keeps you busy, but retainer or expansion work is what stabilizes income. Looking back at past clients for upsells is probably the smartest move here, especially if you’re tying it directly to outcomes they already care about.
