Hi, I'm Jim, I am a retailer in the Hobby Games industry. My store celebrated 30 years in April. I (and we) have won a bunch of awards in that time. I have a good knowledge of Indy B&M retailing and a long experience of what doesn't work, as well as some things that do.

I notice in the classroom there is a proposed class on this subject. I am - sadly - somewhat of a source of much experience in this area. We have moved premises no less than 6 times including twice in the last 5 years (due to reasons out of our control). Over 30 years we have moved and re-opened the store for expansion purposes (when we chose to move) and due to external factors (when we didn't make the choice).
