How to Use and Make the Most of This Platform
Hello!
My name is Chad, and I own an indoor plant shop in Vancouver, Canada called Frondly. We also have an e-commerce store (frondlyplants.com) and a B2B design/ install service for retail stores and offices. We are as much of a home decor store as a plant shop and we specialize in low maintenance plants targeted at beginners and people who like plants but either don’t have a lot of knowledge or don’t have a lot of time to care for them. A lot of our customers have identified with the Plant Killer title so if I was to sum up our niche it might be the plant store for plant killers. My areas of expertise are brand, merchandising copywriting, storytelling, customer service, and sales. Anything creative or to do with people I’m quite handy. My biggest weakness and challenge: finance and getting the business profitable. We do have decent margins (57-58% gross) but rent here is very high and we spend a lot (probably too much) on advertising. Number 1 business goal right now has to be increasing top line revenue and profitability and reducing our reliance on Google ads. Looking forward to learning from you all!
