โฃ๏ธ FMZ Framework Concepts
YO! HOPE EVERYONE IS WELL... Over the years, Iโve adapted a set of concepts that help me step back from just the physical side of movement. A lot of this grew out of what weโve been talking about recently... Focus, Function, and Expressionโbut expanded. When we get stuck, itโs usually not because we donโt have enough 'moves' ... It's because weโre locked into the physical and not engaging the mind (In My Humble Opinion). These framework concepts are meant to do that. They give you something to think through when movement starts feeling forced, rushed, or repetitive. I believe they create awareness to the millions of things that happen in one moment (Internally & externally). You donโt โcompleteโ them. You revisit them . . . especially when you feel stuck. Iโve added these to the classroom as โ FMZ Framework Concepts ๐ง Which concepts do you find yourself using most often? Here's a quick List: 1. PAUSING 2. DIRECTION (Linear, Circular, Spherical) 3. WEIGHT / GROUNDING 4. TIMING / TEMPO 5. LEVELS 6. BREATH 7. VERBAL FLOW 8. CONTACT (Body Surfaces) 9. MUSIC LAYERS
