👋 Introductions & Origins 👇🏼
This is the space to share who you are and why you’re here. When you drop your intro, think of it as a mini–story: 🌎 Where you’re from . . 👟 How long you’ve been breaking (or how you first got started) . . 🎵 Your favorite track to break to — the one that makes you feel invincible on the floor . . 🎯 Why you decided to join Foundational Methodz . . 🙌🏽 What you hope to learn, share, or contribute here . . 🎞️ Post a short clip of You (Cypha or Battle) as part of your Intro 👊🏼 . . The goal is simple: connection 🙏🏼
Movement Requests (Unpack Anything)
Drop one movement, concept, or idea you’d like to unpack. Not just something you want to learn...but something you want to understand better. It could be: - A move you’re stuck on - A transition that feels off - A concept you’ve heard but never fully grasped - Or even something YOU want to share PS. If my Shoulder doesn't permit the movement...I'll let you know or get someone to fill in 😅 Drop it below 👇🏼

♣️ FMZ Framework Concepts
YO! HOPE EVERYONE IS WELL... Over the years, I’ve adapted a set of concepts that help me step back from just the physical side of movement. A lot of this grew out of what we’ve been talking about recently... Focus, Function, and Expression—but expanded. When we get stuck, it’s usually not because we don’t have enough 'moves' ... It's because we’re locked into the physical and not engaging the mind (In My Humble Opinion). These framework concepts are meant to do that. They give you something to think through when movement starts feeling forced, rushed, or repetitive. I believe they create awareness to the millions of things that happen in one moment (Internally & externally). You don’t “complete” them. You revisit them . . . especially when you feel stuck. I’ve added these to the classroom as → FMZ Framework Concepts 🧠 Which concepts do you find yourself using most often? Here's a quick List: 1. PAUSING 2. DIRECTION (Linear, Circular, Spherical) 3. WEIGHT / GROUNDING 4. TIMING / TEMPO 5. LEVELS 6. BREATH 7. VERBAL FLOW 8. CONTACT (Body Surfaces) 9. MUSIC LAYERS
