The hardest part is getting started. Committing to just 10 minutes — or even 5 or 2 — lowers the friction and gets momentum going. “Knowing” gets us part of the way,but “doing” is what transforms new, effortful behaviors into automatic ones. Automation = habits. Muscle building works the same way. At first, the unfamiliar burn feels like danger — your brain tells you to stop. But once you override that default, repeat it, and automate it, your brain and body start to crave it. Building evolves from a chore into a gift!
