I was in the shower this morning thinking… not about work, not about tasks… just about going home. I’m boarding a plane to California in a couple of hours. I’m going to see my dad. I haven’t seen him in two years. I’m not allowed in his house. He’s a hoarder. It’s complicated. I’ll be staying nearby at his girlfriend’s house. They’ve been together for 40 years. My dad and I are going to the foothills for a couple of nights to just be outside together. And I can feel it… all kinds of emotions coming up. Today isn’t a normal Sunday. It’s about regulation. It’s about breathing. It’s about reminding myself that being with him is enough. Not fixing anything. Not making it perfect. Just being there. I’ll keep you updated along the way 🤍

I just got from my first weekend walk and it was gorgeous! I look forward to a bike ride in Cherry Creek State Park tomorrow. And then Sunday I fly to CA to see my dad! What are you up to? Getting outside this weekend?

We love to think progress is a straight line. It’s not. It’s messy. It’s inconsistent. It’s full of “what am I even doing?” days. And if you’re in one of those days right now… this is your reminder: 👉 You don’t need to have a perfect plan. 👉 You don’t need to feel motivated. 👉 You just need to keep showing up. Even when it’s inconvenient. Even when people around you don’t get it. Even when you’re the only one who sees the vision. (I’m literally on vacation right now… and still working on my business. Because this matters to me.) The people in this space get it. That’s why we’re here. So if today feels heavy, or slow, or frustrating… keep going anyway. You started for a reason. Don’t forget that.
