Under the weather
I’ve been fighting a cold and the weather was rough today. Nothing felt ideal. I still got out for a run in the rain. Not because it was impressive, but because it was enough. Consistency doesn’t always look like high energy or perfect conditions. Sometimes it’s just doing the thing anyway, scaled to how you feel. If today hasn’t gone how you planned, it still counts if you showed up in some way.

One of the biggest drivers of energy isn’t what you eat, it’s eating consistently enough. Long gaps between meals, skipping earlier in the day, or under-eating tends to show up as: • low afternoon energy • cravings at night • feeling “off” without knowing why Today’s focus isn’t perfection. Is this the right answer probably not BUT I allow myself to have a “bad” day I just don’t live there. If my motivation was ran over by a bus I allow it but at the end of the day I give myself a “pep talk” and promise myself I’ll do better tomorrow. Sometimes life just lifes a little hard and you need a day to check out. I did just set my alarm for 4:00 to go to the gym before work 😬😬😬😬

I struggle with getting enough water in during the colder months and that what’s I’m consistently trying to do better at this week 😵‍💫
