I donât know much, but I know two things for sure: đMost people donât love drinking water. đWater/hydration is one of our core foundational strategies. So whatâs a girl to do? đ I went on a little statistics hunt, and what I discovered didnât surprise me at all. Per www.statista.com, only 25% of beverages consumed in 2022 were bottled water. 1.5% was from value-added water (water with enhancers, flavors, etc.) and 9.4% was from tap water. Thatâs a total of 35.9%. All other beverages consumed (around 64.1%) were a mixture of alcohol, soft drinks, tea, fruit juices, milk, etc. If youâd like to read these statistics for yourself, here is the link: U.S. beverage consumption share by segment 2022 | Statista Either way, I think itâs safe to say that most Americans donât love drinking just plain olâ H2O. đ Fortunately, I have a good answer, and itâs called fruit-infused water. đ Not only are you optimally hydrating when you drink fruit-infused water, but youâre also squeezing in another basic component weâve discussed before â micronutrients (aka, vitamins and minerals)!
