Since joining this community last week, I’ve already gone through a full redesign of my own community. Funny how fast inspiration can hit when you’re around the right people. Someone here sparked the idea, and after a conversation with @Brian Rushalski yesterday, I decided to add an actual theme to my community. I was a bit skeptical at first. I wasn’t sure a theme would fit with a sobriety and personal growth space. But I decided to trust it and lean in. I ended up going with a Led Zeppelin, rock and roll vibe, and honestly, it fits way better than I expected. Music has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been into it since I was a baby, grew up listening to Zeppelin and classic rock, and it’s just part of who I am. That energy of grit, depth, soul, and rebellion against staying stuck actually lines up really well with the work we’re doing around growth, healing, and rebuilding life. Curious what kind of themes you guys have in your communities, if any. And why did you choose them?

This Blitz has already kicked me straight out of my comfort zone — in the best way. 🙏 I just co-launched a brand-new community that looks NOTHING like my personal brand. Different audience. Different energy. Different rules. (And that was the point.) I also: - built a 3-level gamified onboarding using Goosify-style progression - kept it intentionally scrappy instead of over-designed - started ads before any members joined (yes, really) Normally I’d want this to feel more “ready.” The Blitz pushed me to move anyway and let reality do the refining. Big takeaway so far: clarity shows up after action, not before it. Grateful for the shove. Back to building. 💪
