Today I'm wearing the first watch I 'built' myself. It's 'Seiko' mother of pearl dial with a 58A movement. Day, Day of the Week, and Date windows. Multicolored Mercedes hands with a red lighting bolt seconds hand. Automatic winder, bronze 36mm case with a screw down crown and a Carrera tan strap with a quick deployment clasp. Anyone else build watches? It's been a while since I last checked in and I'm sure there are new people here that like to tinker. That last photo is another one, just showing part of the process.

As I write this the “Watch Father”, @Raymond Locke, has just on 3500 points. Which is truely amazing considering he was a late comer to the Minute Men and has blown past a few of us that have been here for day -2 and on. “Tick Tock Tom”, aka @Tom Hurley arond 8350 points to Lvl 9 and “James Minuteman Milson” @James Milson isnt far behind him at around 9100 points. He have 2 Watch Whispers at present in “Bossman”, aka @Piers Gibson-Leader, and Bill ‘Timely’ Tomlinson, aka @Bill Tomlinson, but the Watch Lovers community is along way behind the RMRS and BOS communities for Lvl 9ers.
