Those supa's ive been using all season in roll finger, and they're honestly the best glove I've worn in 40 years of playing and then coaching goalkeepers. I'm hoping @Ray Newland decides to stick with them permanently. Would highly recommend them.

3g surfaces are well known for wearing gloves out prematurely, thats why j4k do the harder wearing latex on the astro gloves. Even with the astro gloves the palm will wear out extremely quickly if your son goes down "palm heavy". The only real way to prevent this is for your son to practice some drills that teach him to use a different method when he dives and gets up, unfortunately its only a different technique that'll prevent fast wear like in the pictures you provided,so it would be of great benefit to not only him as a goalkeeper, but also your bank account.
