Seed Saving Saves Money
I've been cutting back my (mostly) herb garden and drying stalks for seed saving. Today I jarred up dill, onion, bee balm, sea holly, and batchelor's buttons. It really helps save money when planning for the spring planting season. If you save seeds or plan to, what will you save?

Time for Tea!
I made some sun tea today with basil, oregano, mint, lemon balm, and lemon verbena. Simply cut herbs, stem and all, rinse them, put in jars halfway full then fill with water. Leave them in the sun at least 2 - 4 hours. (Longer if you want it stronger.) Strain them and add a little honey if you like. They're so refreshing and have several medicinal benefits. It's a simple, yummy tea!

Did you use fresh cut herbs or dry them first? Thank you
Friday Forage!
Happy Friday, everybody! I'm picking muscadines today to sell, share, and eat. They're sooo sweet and delicious. What are you harvesting right now?
