Drying Herbs
I've cut rosemary, lavender, white sage, pineapple sage, and lemon verbena this morning. Some I'll use for tea or seasoning, the white sage for smudging. What's your favorite herb and how do you use it?

@Tatiana Spuntova that's great! I'll have to try that.
Peppers Peppers Everywhere!
I finally harvested the last my pepper pepper plants. I'm stringing some up to dry for pepper flakes and to grind into powder. I'll make hot sauce from the rest of them. Has anyone ever tried this?

Let The Beet Drop
Just got home from hiking a portion of the Appalachian Trail to find my second round of beets coming in! I’m so excited.

Cool! Which part did you do? I've only hiked the Southern end. I love roasted beets. I grew them last year, but not this year...I changed that garden into medicinals and herbs and my family won't eat them. They're missing out on roasted beets, but I can't convince them. 😁 I also just read how good they are for fighting inflammation and improving cardiovascular health.

Nice! My second crop got snacked on by my chickens when I wasn't looking. 🙄
