Gamification is a Game Changer 🧨
Hello all, Gamification has massively improved the community we run for an influencer. Here's why: Firstly, let me describe gamification - It's essentially, creating competitions between the members within the community. Make sense? The reason why it's been so advantageous for us is that it's getting the engagement of all the members up. This in turn pushes us higher up the discovery page and thus gets more eyeballs on the community. it's the positive multiplier effect. Additionally, by having more active and engaged members, they're more likely to refer the community to their mates, attracting more members etc. Finally, because the 2 competitions we're running will last all summer, the members are invcentivised to stay in the community, reducing the churn! Here's the trick - you've got to make sure the prizes up for grabs are something the members so eagerly desire! For example, because we run a golf community for a PGA pro, the prize is being able to win a round of golf with him at a top 100 UK championship course (usually worth Β£300+). This is such a good incentive for the members and they're loving it so far! I couldn't recommend gamification enough! If you have any ideas for gamification for your community, share them down below πŸ‘‡ Equally, if you want to know the specifics of the competitions I run, then shoot me a message and I'll share them with you!

How I Use Funnels For Organic Growth
Hello all, Over the last week it's been so nice to see all the positive and organic engagement we've received from our community members. Naturally it's been a hard journey to funnel our clients' social media followers onto skool. Now that's the key word ... funnel. Social media is a funny place. Often times you can follow people with no real connection to them, it's just so easy to do. So what Jordan (our client) did, was start his own email newsletter. This was truly a smart idea because those who sign up to this newsletter are already warm clients, they've already gone through friction (entering their email address as opposed to just clicking follow) and they know Jordan and his brand. The trust him. From here, we got to work. Upping the promotion, providing real incentives and genuine value to these warm clients in the form of knowledge, content, giveaways and loyalty in the form of regular correspondence. Therefore, when the day came to launch the skool community, these warm followers we're hot and ready to join. They'd seen how much value Jordan had given them and now want access to all the juicy stuff. Now they're providing their own input into the community and growing it organically, a result of building up trust and rapport with a solid group of followers. This is only going to be an exponential curve upwards and I cannot wait to see what happens in the coming weeks and months. Remember all, funnelling is the secret. Social media -> email newsletter -> skool. Sure, they don't all convert into paying members, I'm not claiming to have a 100% conversion rate 🀣 but to give yourself the best chance of getting social media followers to trust you to eventually pay for a subscription service, you've got to constantly give them value and over time, funnel them to where you want them. Hope that helps team, speak soon, James.
I've Built My First Community (For an Influencer)!!
Hello all, So pleased to announce that today I am launching my first community. I have partnered with a PGA golf pro called Jordan who has 15+ years experience within the industry and has coaching thousands of golfers worldwide. I've helped him build the whole community, structure his content, provide him with community post ideas, and much more. It's been a long old journey (6 weeks of planning and executing) and now it's time to really get started!! I look forward to sharing everything I learn with you all. Best, James.

How to Increase Conversion Rates ...?
Hello team, I'd love any tips for increasing conversion rates. Currently around 10% - would be great to get up above 30% and more. We're a very specialised and niche community with some high quality content so would like to assume that those interested in golf content would want to join. Look forward to hearing from you all. James.

How to Increase Conversion Rates ...?
On the Road to $5k/Month (Day 1)
Hello team, Yesterday we lunched our first skool community with the PGA golf pro, Jordan Bazzone! Firstly, thanks for all the support yesterday, you're all so wonderful πŸ™ To kick things off, I'm going to be honest ... It's been a long process. Building, creative strategy, social media ideation and more but it's so worth it. Jordan is a class guy and a real expert in his field (15+ years) so it's been a pleasure to be a part of this process with him. What I thought I'd do is share a little story about the first 24 hours of launching my first community on skool with an 'influencer'. I'm not going to lie, it did seem quite surreal, all this work and now we're finally here ... safe to say the imposter syndrome kicked in πŸ˜… but I tried my best to enjoy the day, manage the community as best as I could and ensure it was a smooth ride for Jordan and the members. Due to Jordans social media profile (c16k followers) we had a great first day. 27 members in the first 24 hours was crazy. We've been running some really cool strategies to get the launch off to a hot start and I've shared them all below πŸ‘‡: - 7 day countdown on social media. - Releasing cuts and edits of some of Jordan's exclusive content. - Targeting warm leads on his email list (1.7k people). - All these Skool benefits below are being run for the first 50 members. - 30% lifetime discount. - The chance to win a free Titleist GT driver (PGA tour level equipment). - A free swing analysis for every member. - A personalised welcome message from Jordan. - Much much more. What's important now is that we keep this momentum up - the social media exposure and the energy within the community is vital so see us succeed and build a thriving community of golfers across England the the world. We've got to keep our feet on the ground, keep our heads down and really deliver some genuinely good value for the members. I look forward to sharing more stories with you all and learning so much throughout the process.

@Ted Carr Jordan has a newsletter where he gives his insights to a coupe time a week - super warm leads there (nearly 2000 people)! We've helped him write up the content that funnels his leads towards skool!
