Hello team,
Yesterday we lunched our first skool community with the PGA golf pro, Jordan Bazzone! Firstly, thanks for all the support yesterday, you're all so wonderful π
To kick things off, I'm going to be honest ... It's been a long process. Building, creative strategy, social media ideation and more but it's so worth it. Jordan is a class guy and a real expert in his field (15+ years) so it's been a pleasure to be a part of this process with him. What I thought I'd do is share a little story about the first 24 hours of launching my first community on skool with an 'influencer'.
I'm not going to lie, it did seem quite surreal, all this work and now we're finally here ... safe to say the imposter syndrome kicked in π
but I tried my best to enjoy the day, manage the community as best as I could and ensure it was a smooth ride for Jordan and the members.
Due to Jordans social media profile (c16k followers) we had a great first day. 27 members in the first 24 hours was crazy. We've been running some really cool strategies to get the launch off to a hot start and I've shared them all below π:
- 7 day countdown on social media.
- Releasing cuts and edits of some of Jordan's exclusive content.
- Targeting warm leads on his email list (1.7k people).
- All these Skool benefits below are being run for the first 50 members.
- 30% lifetime discount.
- The chance to win a free Titleist GT driver (PGA tour level equipment).
- A free swing analysis for every member.
- A personalised welcome message from Jordan.
- Much much more.
What's important now is that we keep this momentum up - the social media exposure and the energy within the community is vital so see us succeed and build a thriving community of golfers across England the the world. We've got to keep our feet on the ground, keep our heads down and really deliver some genuinely good value for the members.
I look forward to sharing more stories with you all and learning so much throughout the process.
If you guys and girls have any tips for us, I'm all ears ππ
James.
