I made it to the first destination: Amsterdam🇳🇱 Wow, I forgot how cold it can get here. I'm glad to be back to the city I called home for a while but this time with my mom. It's a mother-daughter trip! Preparing for this trip has been overwhelming. Despite everything here are my takeaways and wins: - I can function with less sleep but that is not sustainable for my body nor my mental health. Sleep and mainly quality sleep is important. - Mobility workout, mindful movement and asking for help is the best way for me to prevent injuries. - Consistency is key but I'm human and life happens. Dailing back is okay but next day normal is they way to go with everything. I've consistently walked 10k steps minimum for weeks now but day before I just couldn't. Next day I jumped right back to normal and got the steps in... even on travel day and first day here. - Overall Win has been the mindset change. Choosing difficult options because they are aligned with my goals, not making excuses first but genuinely trying to achieve goals and dailing back when required. Attaching my steps progress since joining this community 😁

Nice steps!! It’s crazy how frustrating life can be when you don’t get proper sleep!! Hope you can get some rest and enjoy your time with your mom!!

@Kamna M I get a tad cranky! But I do appreciate my friends, like you, here at BBB for encouraging me and helping me get through it! 💞
Finding my rhythm
My small but mighty win is for the first time in 3 months I have tracker my calories and weighted myself everyday for this whole week to fill in my tracker 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 If I could only explain the feeling of being so inconsistent for the first 3 months, 2 finally figuring it out 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Good work!!
When a cold meets camping weather 🤧🌬️ Recovery mode ON 💪
Happy Monday everyone! I’ve been battling a bad cold and cough since the end of last week, and it was at its peak yesterday. My husband suggested a week-long camping trip to Portugal, but the weather yesterday was terrible – crazy wind gusts and chilly. That pushed me over the edge, but I’m feeling slightly better today and hope tomorrow will be better. Thankfully, the weather forecast predicts sunny weather for the next few days! To be honest, I haven’t been hitting my protein target, but I’ve managed to meet the minimum. When I’m sick, I feel constantly hungry instead of losing my appetite. I need to fuel myself up with carbs to feel fuller. I can’t wait to go back to my normal routine. I will start my strength course once I’m fully recovered. Wait for me!

Hill training
Went on a run this morning. Ran up and down one big hill. Not a lot of big hills where I live so this was a bit of a stretch for me. But I made it!

@Usra Shah Thank you! I’m going to try to keep going tomorrow too!!
Question
Can I realistically do 4/week with a 30-35 minute time limit for each session? I generally lift heavy with 5-6 reps per set so I can do each exercise in less time. But after going through the blueprint this seems like not the right thing to do for every exercise. I can add another day of lifting but I can’t make more time, if that makes sense.

@Usra Shah maybe try it first and see if I can fit it all in before adjusting?

@Jennifer Crafton I only have about 35 mins max to lift weights per day, so I am going to see how much I can get accomplished first with the four day program. I may have to add a day. We’ll see.
