Question
My wife has noticed my calmness alot more lately, been taking more time to soak in nature and being more present with everything. She told me that is unsettling that I am so calm. Anyone get this from their partners?

@Bart Domangue Interestingly, my wife has always thought I overthink. But my own view has been I reflect and have a genuine curiosity for introspection. From what you have described, it sounds as if your change at a subjective personal level is a positive one. I guess there is a bigger question that you will need to consider on how the changes are impacting your relationships (good and bad) and any downstream consequence (again good or bad). Or perhaps the transition your wife is noticing requires some time for her to adjust.

That's excellent. I'm glad it's having a positive outcome and the family are beginning to see the benefit. What philosophy have you been reading / following?
Can we define Love?
What the the absolute definition of Love? I'm honored to share my research made public on academia, I hope you enjoy it. https://abrahambravocarvajal.academia.edu/research

Hi Abraham, I enjoyed reading your definitions of subjective and objective perfection - best part. I did wonder if the definition of absolute perfection does come full circle as isn't an external reference or an expression to nature a subjective opinion in itself? The middle of the paper lost me and I struggled to stay with the numbers. Personally, layman's terms analogies would have helped. Albeit, appreciate this was an academic paper. This led me to skip central concepts which I'm sure where valid if grasped. I would really enjoy reading a pop-modern version of your theory. Challenge accepted?? All the best and well done on your paper. Jack #thepublicstoic

Hi Abraham, the pop modern version that I would be grateful for explanation is the following chapter: III. THE DERIVATION OF GOOD — FROM FIRST PRINCIPLES
