šŸŗ Oh Ya, Tony? Hold my beer...My Auction Did $427!!!!
In like 36 hours! Right before Christmas! It was a mad scramble toward the end as those $1 bids came flying in! BUT... My focus for 2026 and beyond... No Asset Left Behind! ANd that means no auction shits the bed. The only bed shitting is letting assets go unnoticed. LOTS of learning assets were discovered in this auction. I learned more from that auction than any others. One...I probably suck at auctions. And offers. And tapping. Still had fun though. And there were some little things along the way that I tested that got good data. One thing I realized about my tiny group of 134 members... It's not my audience. Most came from other people promoting the group and inviting people in. Then all of a sudden this weirdo (me) is running an email/post campaign to them? Like we're old friends? Getouttahere!!!! So there's that. Also it was the first time I ran an auction for my own offer. But I did create some killer assets that can be used over and over. So hopefully I'll crack the $500 ceiling next time and join the ranks of the auction heroes like @Tony Teegarden!!! But I'm still super excited to hang with the auction winner and one person who took the follow up offer. And I still think auctions and contests are a blast and have a few more planned soon. I'll take your questions now...

Best place to start with auctions?
Hey Ronins! I've been out of the loop for some time, but I'd love to get up to speed with auctions. What's the best place to start and learn how to run them? Is there a guide to follow? Appreciate your help šŸ™Œ

@Tomasz Babiec there are a few things to check in the Classroom, such as: https://www.skool.com/ronin/classroom/a3d4cdff?md=1fe227ee84f246d8a573f6c7876f2dfc
First time auction success: $31k winning bid
Long time lurker here, first time poster... 2 days ago, I ran a 24-hour auction in my Skool group of 400 people. There was a "pool party" theme to make the event even more fun and exciting than it might be otherwise. All in all, around 35 people ended up making a bid. Out of those, 10 or so were actively and continuously bidding for the actual offer over the 24 hours. The winning bidder wasn't one of them — he only swept in during the last 2 or so minutes, and won the auction in a photo finish, with a last-second $31k bid. (I had initially estimated the entire auction might bring in $10k total.) Along with the winning bidder, now I also have 10 people who have expressed a serious level of interest in the outcome I was promising in the auction offer. I'm talking to them as well, to see how we might end up working together. On top of all that, my entire group is on a kind of high. Folks really got into the auction and the pool party theme — there were side bets going on, running gags, people goosing each other on, and lots of jokes, to the point that somebody recommended giving out a prize for the funniest comment (a suggestion that was immediately adopted). There are 755 comments on the auction post, and a bunch of members have written me afterwards to thank me for putting on an exciting and fun spectacle. All that's to say... now I'm a believer. And I'll be doing more auctions soon. Big thanks to both @Travis Sago and @Chris Dyson for their help before, during, and after the auction.

It will be a fantastic result, @John Bejakovic - I think what showed during the whole auction was the affinity with your group - which I guess in no small part is down to people 'knowing you' from being on your list.
First Auction Win: Wrapping it up at $174,000 in sales 🫠
@Marcus Karl and I are wrapping up our first auction this weekend. I was positive it would do well. But damn... I didn't think it would go this well. Believe it or not, this is my first time making money on a campaign! QLL deal in May: Flop Poll tap deal in June: Mega flop Auction in December: *Great Success!* (Borat voice) All I needed was a damn win. Now we're working on two more auction campaigns!

So I’m working on a FUN-NEL in REAL TIME. (NOT in my head!) The dude watches my video and replies back… ā€œI love the open loop.ā€ Before you look at the pic… How would you respond? Then look at the pic. šŸ‘‰ And comment WHY I responded the way I did! šŸ‘‡ If we get 50 comments I’ll show you the REST of the convo! (I’ll unlock more in the comments as we get closer to the answer.) Update: See full convo and breakdown šŸ‘‡

I think what we really want to know is, did they.. A. Ask for a coffee date / get their wallet out B. Get labelled a tire kicker - no further action required
