We celebrate the outcome. We rarely study the repetition. The difference between ordinary and legendary isn’t talent. It’s tolerance. Tolerance for rejection. Tolerance for embarrassment. Tolerance for slow progress. Tolerance for looking foolish before looking brilliant. Most people don’t fail because they lack ability. They fail because they quit too early. Failure isn’t the opposite of success. It’s the filtration system. It removes the people who aren’t willing to persist. The question isn’t: “Will I fail?” You will.
