Warning about Linkedin security verification
Hi everyone, just wanted to share my experience this week of being locked out of Linkedin and getting my account back (hopefully) so that you can be aware of this. Basically, when I tried to log into Linkedin via Chrome, I was getting this message "Something unexpected happened. Please try again." I tried all the techniques ChatGPT suggested, like clearing cache, etc. but I had no success on Chrome or Microsoft edge, which log me out every time I switch off my computer. Doing a little research on the net, I found a way to submit a ticket to Linkedin by taking a screen shot and sending it to them. Fortunately, I was still able to access Linkedin on my phone and Firefox, because they never log me out, so I was able to submit my customer support ticket (I'm not sure how you can do it if you aren't logged in). Basically, they have required me to submit government ID to 'prove my identity' despite my having 2-factor authentication. I think they are using this tactic to force everyone to submit their ID. So, this is just to give you a heads up - it might happen to you, so make sure you can keep yourself logged into your account some way, if it's safe to do so. And if you get that message, now you know what to do! P.S. I'm furious I had to share my id!

@Kevin Dowling thanks - exactly, it wasn't a suspended account (that's also happened before). It was that they wanted to confirm my identity through a third party organisation. So I had to submit my driving licence. I just wanted others to know what they can do if this happens.
IMPACT challenge learnings
Just catching up now: Day 2 Learnings: If short on time, prioritise 'highest-leverage' Impact action daily. This week I have been forcing myself more into the DMs and sending follow ups Day 3 Learnings: I believe I'm already using these 6 strategies, BUT my weakness is in the DMs and still feel unsure sometimes of the right questions to ask (using ChatGPT helps a lot as well as following the What-Why-How framework) Day 4 Learnings: Gamma is awesome! I signed up immediately - it was exactly what I needed this moment. I also loved @Jade Arthur 's poll topic and I might borrow that, if you don't mind ;)
My Impact goal
Builder 2.0 Summary Beliefs: There are dream clients out there who will gladly pay for the transformation I offer. Abundance exists. I focus on what I can control. Daily Actions: Connect with leads, follow up consistently, create content, start meaningful conversations, and engage in the space. No More: No chasing shiny objects, no spiraling in self-doubt, no scrapping everything when something flops. Presence: Confident, grounded, proud — I show up knowing my offer works and changes careers. šŸŽÆ Impact Goal Sign 16 multilingual HR professionals into my English confidence program by mid-September, so they can lead meetings, influence decisions, and grow their careers by year-end. šŸ“ Daily Micro-Actions 1. DM 3–5 warm or previous leads per day 2. Follow up with ghosted leads or older convos 3. Post 1 proof-driven or story-based content piece per day 4. Comment on 5–10 relevant posts to stay visible and connected 5. Track your convos and follow-ups in a simple lead tracker
Nuggests about Hunting
Hey everyone, I thought I'd share my thoughts on the client hunting. It's good to know I've been doing many of the things suggested, but it's given me a few ideas to tweak. 1. For example, I used to write: Hi NAME, I noticed you recently visited my profile - thanks for checking in! How are things with you, anyway? Now I'll try: Hi NAME, I noticed you recently visited my profile - thanks for checking in! I'm curious - was there something specific you were looking for? My thought is it's a bit more direct than I feel comfortable with, but I'm willing to try it. 2.I've also tweaked my poll follow up question, and I tried it with a poll this week. I normally don't get answers when I follow up on polls, particularly not from people who are strong leads. Does anyone nudge the person after this? Normally I just let it be.

@Rachel Williams thank you for your input here too, and congrats on the client!
Week 2 Streak
Hey everyone! I just wanted to come here and say thanks for the great advice yesterday about handling a competitor joining my masterclass - it really put my mind at ease! Also, I now have a 5 day streak which started last week. I'm going heavy on sending out masterclass messages, so some things have fallen to the side, but I've managed to do most of the work. Yipeeee!
