The heart of community is co-regulation, don't change my mind
Community to me is everything. So as I looked for ways to deeper connect with my members I was reminded of how much fun I have on the super star calls here with @Goose Dunlavey and all of you. I decided to add random lives to the calendar in the next two weeks. I am doing what I call Co-regulation Calls twice a week and once a month I will have a Co-regulation call with a teach in workshop of something they vote on. These calls are shared nervous-system spaces. Think co-working, but for regulation. Being together without needing to engage, explain, or perform. During the call, we can: - journal or work on prompts - read, scroll, or watch something quietly - do a hobby, doodle, knit, or stretch - fold laundry, tidy, make tea - or simply sit and rest Cameras are optional. Coming late or leaving early is okay. Today I had my first call and I'm so happy I decided to do this. I connected with a member I haven't talked to in a while and felt the power of community overtake me. I also decided to strategically place them at different times so different people have the opportunity to join the call. How do you guys utilize the live feature? And what results have you seen from pressure free calls?
