Challenges! (June 23-29)
1: Reconnect with yourself - Under 2.5 hours daily iPhone screen time (upload photos from screentime in settings) - Take at least 2 hikes (upload photos when you take them) - Journal once daily. (No proof needed, lying only hurts yourself) 2: Physical challenge - Go to the gym 6/7 days this week (upload photos of your workout) - Upload 2 images of meals that helped your gym performance (high protein meals) - Progress pictures (upload a photo of your current gym progress at the start of the week Missing a day is completely ok, just let us know what happened and what steps you’re taking to succeed! Note: I know last week didn’t have a challenge and I’m super sorry about that. I’ve been extremely busy and have had my personal life taking a lot more time then it typically does. Sorry about the inconsistency, I will try to work on it. -Clément

Challenge one
A new beginning
Hi guys i’m new here. For years i’ve fought against depression and it has caused some problems in my personal life and the way i see the world, and i want to change that. My goal is to improve every aspect of my life and build a new mindset that can lead me towards success and build a healthy athletic body. I joined this community so that i can surround myself with visionary people, also so that i can stop procrastinating thinking that I’m “fixing” my life when i’m just hidden in my confort zone. I’m excited to be part of this community

Build muscle
If I wanna build muscle and go on a surplus to be bigger for basketball, will it affect my jumping and running performance? Will it make my vert decrease?

You should try to eat a gram of protein per pound of body fat. The core power protein shakes help if you’re struggling with getting that much protein in.
Gym
Started gym this week. Gonna use Sam’s 6 day workout and see. Still a beginner, any advice?

try to eat one pound of protein per pound of body weight. Also, stay consistent. You’re not going to see results right away, but you will if you stay consistent.
