Hi @Siobhan Keeley thats look amazing. Hope you are doing well. Managed to clear a lot of task off my todo list today. Also got a pb on squats at the gym, 90kg for 5 reps getting my hips level with my knees.

@Siobhan Keeley It depends, usually if I'm going on holiday, which I am in a weeks time I have to be very organised so I do write to do lists daily. I'm not quite as good any other time πŸ˜‚

...And to your writing coach. "If I don't want to puke or cry, I haven't gone hard enough." (I did say this to my writing coach & she wholeheartedly agreed.) 2 hours on legs. Thought I was going to puke twice, almost did a little cry. βœ”οΈ Reps on everything went up, 3 sets instead of 2 for everything except HS. Full sesh in pictures, highlights πŸ‘‡πŸΌ πŸ₯Ή Hack squat back on the menu (probably shouldn't be 😬) rack only for 10 ✨Leg ext. 59kgs top weight ✨Prone leg curl 45kg top weight ✨ Seated leg curl 32kg top weight ☝🏼BSS 14kg from 12.5 ☝🏼Leg press 50kg from 40 (extra set at top weight for being a little bitch πŸ’…πŸΌ) ✨ Overhead LP 50kg top weight 🀒 ☝🏼RDL 50kg from 30 πŸ₯Ή πŸ™ŒπŸΌ Farmers walk 3x at 35kg 🀒 I'm a long way off any PB's but it's all going in the right direction... except ad/ab ductors they were still mad at me... πŸ˜‚ (77kg on Friday)

Amazing effort πŸ’ͺyou will be feeling that for a couple of days. I done leg press just randomly the other day, thought I'd see where I could get to for 10 reps, got up to 240kg, I think I could of done a bit more but stopped, I regretted that the next day πŸ˜‚

@Rachel Littlewood you will get back there no problem πŸ’ͺ. My pb is 440kg but that was around 18 months ago, plus putting the plates on was a workout in itself 🀣 Yeah second day for me is always the worst, I hope its not too bad for you.
Friday wins
Back in the gym today for the 1st time since tearing my MCL en route to the Live Event. πŸ’ͺ🏼 Here's where we're starting from (only counted if 10 clean reps completed) πŸ‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Goblet (goblin!) squat: 20.5kg πŸ‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Leg press 40kg πŸ‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Lunges 12kg πŸ‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Farmers walk 35kg (5kgs more than at the live) πŸ‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Deadlift 30kg πŸ‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Ab/Adductor 80kg Deliberately took it easy on anything aggravating the knee (you'll notice squats aren't there 😭). Other wins... πŸ‘–For those concerned about my jeans πŸ™ˆ I bought a pair 2 sizes smaller 🀯 & a dress 1 size smaller...the lats & the ladies weren't getting in a 10 πŸ˜…πŸ€£ πŸ’ͺ🏼Arm definition coming along nicely (yes that is a decanter full of Pornstar martini, no I will not be elaborating further) πŸ’†πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Took myself off to a Japanese Head Spa for a little treat (omg 🀀) πŸ€“ 2 1st stage interviews for CRO positions completed (Β£50k & Β£100k a year pay increase respectively πŸ€‘ 🀞🏼🀞🏼🀞🏼)...that deserves πŸ₯‚ And I still have birthday celebrating to do (after a wee nap) πŸ₯³ What are your Friday wins, big or small?!

Thats an amazing effort, and great that you are getting back to the gym after your injury. Looks like you had a very productive and fun Friday. I went to the gym after work, although I had to run some errands before hand which took a bit longer than I thought and I was a bit shaky by the time I got there, still done 1.5 hrs. I lifted 80kg on bench press and it wasn't awful and thought I could probably do heavier but I had already done 4 sets and decided to leave it, go sensible me πŸ˜‚.
Update on new gym
I started at a new gym 2 weeks ago, what a difference. The membership fee is a little pricey think I'm paying double the cost of pure gym and its a bit further away but the gym itself is huge with all machines I've never seen before plus all those I'm familiar with. I was there last night which I think is my 4th or 5th session there and it was the busiest I've seen it which was around 10 to 14 people, normally there are 1 or 2. I have been able to get on all the machines and the other members and staff are really friendly. There are spare straps and belts at most of the equipment and everything is in its place. There is also a deadlift jack which is amazing! Really glad I changed gyms it has made such a difference.
Tip Of The Day
πŸ“ˆ The Secret Weapon Progressive overload is the secret nobody talks about enough. Add a rep, add a kilo, do something more than last week. That’s how you grow.

Started back at the gym 10 weeks ago, managed 60kg on bench press for 6 reps. I have been adding a few kg every week, which doesnt feel like much, but I'm now lifting 80kg which felt impossible 10 weeks ago.
