🤲🏼DAY 4 — Authority Was Given Before You Felt Ready
Let’s talk about something that trips a lot of believers up. We think authority comes after we feel ready. After we feel holy enough. After we feel confident enough. After we stop messing up. But Scripture says otherwise. 📖 Luke 10:19 “I have given you authority… over all the power of the enemy.” Not “I will give.”Not “Once you qualify.”Not “After you get it together.” I HAVE GIVEN. Authority is not a reward for perfection It's a gift given through position. And your position was settled when you became a child of God. Here’s where we get stuck: We wait to feel powerful before we walk in authority. But authority doesn’t come from feelings it comes from alignment. A police officer doesn’t wake up and say,“Hmm… I don’t feel very authoritative today.” No.Authority works because of who backs it, not how it feels. Same with you. You don’t speak with authority because you’re flawless. You speak with authority because He authorized you. The enemy knows this. That’s why he attacks confidence, not calling.Identity, not gifting.Belief, not power. If he can convince you that you’re unqualified, you’ll never open your mouth. Feeling unready does not disqualify you. You don’t need perfect faith. You need obedient faith. Speak anyway.Pray anyway.Declare anyway. Authority doesn’t wait for comfort. Reflection - Where have you been waiting to “feel ready” before stepping out? - What fear tells you that you’re unqualified? - What would change if you trusted God’s authority more than your emotions? Declaration I don’t wait to feel ready.I walk in the authority God has already given me.I speak in alignment, not fear.I trust what God said over how I feel. Tomorrow we’re talking about why faith SPEAKS not pleads. Stay bold. Youre stepping into something real now. 🔥

I’m on a roll tonight!!!
The LORD had said to Abram, Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.” What gets me every time is what God didn’t say. He didn’t say where yet. He didn’t give Abram a map, coordinates, or a five-step plan. He didn’t say, “Go to the land you’ve already seen someone else succeed in.” He said, go… and I will show you. Meaning the clarity was tied to the movement. The direction was waiting on obedience. The revelation would come after Abram trusted God enough to step. Some of us are stuck asking God for details He’s already decided to reveal on the way. We want the full picture before we move, but God is asking for faith before sight. If He told you everything upfront, it wouldn’t require trust. Sometimes the calling isn’t about knowing the destination it’s about trusting the One who’s leading you there. Move. And let God show you.

I don't like my kids right now
Kids will have you questioning your entire salvation by 7:14 a.m. They ask 400 questions before breakfast, request a snack 17 seconds after you just fed them, and suddenly forget how to walk when it’s time to clean. They break things you didn’t even know you owned, argue like they passed the bar, and stare at you blankly after you just gave them five clear instructions. One minute they’re calling you the best mommy in the world and the next, they’re screaming because their sock “feels weird.” Parenting is beautiful, but let’s not pretend it’s always holy. Sometimes it feels more like survival than stewardship. And while we post the cute pictures and quote the Bible verses, many of us are secretly battling anger, shame, resentment, and the haunting thought, “I don’t even like my kid right now.” The struggle is real. So let’s jump into the realness behind parenting the parts we’re too embarrassed to say out loud. The parts God still wants to heal. 🛡️ DAY 3: THE SHOES OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE
How You Stay Steady When Life Is Loud Scripture: “And having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace.” — Ephesians 6:15 Shoes don’t protect your head. They don’t guard your heart. They determine how you move. In Roman armor, shoes had spikes on the bottom. Why? So the soldier could stand firm, advance forward, and not slip when the ground was rough. Spiritually, peace does the same thing. WHAT THE SHOES OF PEACE ACTUALLY PROTECT The shoes of peace protect your stability. Without peace: • You react instead of respond • You feel constantly unsettled • You’re easily triggered • You feel rushed, anxious, and defensive • Your parenting feels chaotic and inconsistent Peace is not calm circumstances. Peace is steady footing when circumstances aren’t calm. 📖 “The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds…” — Philippians 4:7 Peace guards your movement — how you walk through conflict, correction, chaos, and pressure. WHAT PEACE IS (AND IS NOT) Peace is not: • Avoiding hard conversations • Ignoring problems • Suppressing emotions • Being passive or quiet Biblical peace is: • Confidence in God’s presence • Stability under pressure • Calm authority, not emotional numbness • Forward movement without panic Jesus didn’t promise peace because life would be easy. He promised peace because life would be hard. 📖 “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart — I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33 HOW YOU KNOW YOU’RE NOT WEARING THE SHOES You’re barefoot spiritually when: • Every inconvenience feels overwhelming • You snap quickly • You dread conflict • You feel constantly on edge • You avoid situations instead of addressing them • Your home feels emotionally tense That’s not because you’re failing. That’s because peace hasn’t been fastened to your walk. Bare feet = unstable steps. HOW TO PUT ON THE SHOES OF PEACE (PRACTICAL) Peace is something you prepare for, not something you hope shows up.

Kindling the Fire of Intimacy with God
Scriptures James 4:8: “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17–18: “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” Revelation 3:20: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” Closeness with God does not happen by accident. Like any meaningful relationship, intimacy with Him grows when we are intentional. Think of standing near a fire on a cold night. From a distance, you feel nothing but as you move closer, you experience warmth, light, and comfort. The fire does not move toward you; you must move toward it. God’s presence is much the same. He does not change; He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. When we feel spiritually cold, it is often because we have drifted away. Drawing near to God through prayer, repentance, and worship places us once again where His presence can warm and transform us. We draw near to God in several practical ways: 1. Praying honest prayers: These are not ritualistic, rehearsed, or copied prayers. They flow from a sincere heart and reflect real conversation with God. 2. Offering heartfelt worship: Worship that truly connects comes from the heart. God is Spirit, and He seeks those who worship Him in spirit and in truth not merely through form, but through genuine devotion and adoration. 3. Reading and meditating on God’s Word: Scripture is not meant to be read only out of duty or for information. We engage with the Word so that we may be transformed, motivated by our love for God and our desire to honor Him. 4. Meeting God in the quiet place: Learning to be still and listen for God’s gentle, quiet voice can be challenging. Many prefer to do all the talking in prayer or seek dramatic manifestations as proof of His presence. Too often, we desire a relationship with what God does (what He can do for us) rather than with who He is.
