Behavior idea for littles
Wanted to share this idea for those who have littles that my hubby and I came up with for our 2 and 5 year old sons behavior and how they will loose the magnet for disobedience, and lying for oldest and youngest hitting, and disobedience.their reward will be a icecream token to redeem on Saturdays for a trip to icecream store with us.

Daughter struggling with being set apart to other kids
So my daughter questions a lot why she can’t do the things other kids get to do like watch certain shows, listen to certain music, and dress the way other girls get to dress. Anyone dealing with this? If so how do you handle it and what do you pray regarding their identity?

Malica, this is real, and honestly this is a good sign. It means she’s aware, she’s observing, and she’s trying to understand where she fits. When she asks “why can’t I,” think about what you usually lead with, because if it’s just “because we don’t do that,” she may hear restriction but not identity. At her age, this isn’t really about shows, music, or clothes, it’s about belonging and not wanting to feel different. What may help is shifting the conversation from rules to identity. Instead of just saying no, help her understand that your family chooses to do things differently on purpose, not because she’s missing out, but because she’s being guided and protected. Also pay attention to whether she feels like everything is being taken away or if she still has things she genuinely enjoys, because that balance matters. If it feels like everyone else gets everything and she gets nothing, she’s going to push against it more. When you pray, keep it simple and consistent. Cover her identity, that she knows who she is, that she’s set apart with purpose, and that she’s not missing out but being led. And give her language she can hold onto, something as simple as “my family does things differently.” That helps her stand in it with confidence instead of feeling like she’s just being forced into it.
Post 12: My exact systems
This is the exact system I’ve been using in my home for the past 3 years. And I’m telling you right now…it works. Not sometimes. Not when I feel like it. When it’s applied consistently it works. This is the system behind: ✔ why I don’t have to keep repeating myself ✔ why I don’t have to raise my voice ✔ why my children know I mean what I say ✔ why my follow-through is strong This system has also worked for 50+ parents I’ve shared it with. This system will not work if: ❌ you’re inconsistent ❌ you don’t follow through ❌ you give up when it gets hard Because the system isn’t magic.… YOUR consistency is what makes it work. So if you’re ready… CHANGE how your home operates. https://www.thejourneytofindgod.com/build-structure-now

Let’s celebrate together
Kingdom parents, Every year on May 31st, we celebrate the Everything Parent Award in honor of Frances Marie Williams. This is not just another post or something we scroll past. This is a movement. My grandmother, Frances Marie Williams, raised me. She was my everything. She did everything, even when it was hard, even when nobody saw it, even when she had every reason to give up. And when I look at this community, I see her in so many of you. Parents who are tired but still show up, healing while raising others, carrying a past and still pushing forward, parents who don’t have it easy but refuse to quit. So on May 31st, we honor that. We honor you. This is how we’re showing up. You wake up intentional. Not rushing, not overwhelmed, not pouring into everyone else first. You get dressed, do your hair, get your nails done, put on something that makes you feel good. You take yourself out, whether it’s to eat, to sit in peace, or just to enjoy your own presence. You take pictures, real ones, proud ones, the kind that say “I made it through some things.” I will be sending out certificates to every parent who signs up, because you deserve to be recognized. Then we show the world. You post your pictures, you tag the community, you send them to me, and I’m going to share them so the world can see what strength really looks like, what resilience looks like, what “everything” really looks like. We celebrate everything else in this world. Now it’s time to celebrate ourselves. If you’re joining this movement, drop your name below. This is your moment. Don’t sit this one out. Because May 31st belongs to the parents who never gave up. In honor of Frances Marie Williams, let’s show the world what “everything” really looks like.

@Tilanie Williams Tilanie, I love this energy, you already planned it out and brought someone with you. That’s exactly how we’re showing up for this.

Welcome to Kingdom University... an imperfect place where the Lord is welcome and real families are growing. This community is not about perfect parenting. It’s about parents who are willing to be honest, learn, pray, and grow together as we raise children who love God. Some of us are learning discipline, some of us are healing from our own childhood, and some of us are just trying to get through the day without losing our patience. Wherever you are in your parenting journey, you belong here.
