Role of Government in Everyday Life
I’ve been thinking a lot about how much influence government should have in our day‑to‑day decisions. Some people argue for a minimal role to protect individual freedom, while others believe a more active government is necessary to ensure fairness and stability. I’m curious how everyone here sees it. Where’s the line between personal liberty and collective responsibility, and who should draw it? Looking forward to hearing different perspectives and keeping the conversation respectful and open.

Charity with other people's money is embezzlement, or robbery if carried out in the name of the government. I think it is not charity to provide first aid assistance or to loan equipment and/or labour (for a fee, if there is no reasonable alternative) in case of emergencies or to ensure bank loans are available to invest in their prevention.
Just sent to me from inside Iran. 🚨
This is mind-blowing. In the middle of the protests, this man fearlessly thanks Trump and shouts "The People of Israel Live!"

Respect, for him and for Armin. Your struggle is also a struggle for my own life and liberty as a Romanian and as a human being.

Hi, I am from Romania. I came here because of the coverage of the Iranian news and I am going to stay for the discussions. For fun, I play video games, I play with my grandkids, and I go out with friends to talk about things over some kind of drink.
