North South Choke
i just did a deep dive on the North-South choke, and I think it’s seriously underrated in MMA.It requires very little athleticism, there's minimal risk of gassing out your arms, and you rarely have to give up position to finish it. That said, there are a few key details that make all the difference when it comes to actually finishing the choke. Curious to hear your thoughts—do you use it? Do you teach it? Let’s talk about it 👇

That's amazing cant see any way to defend against it. Only punching head ( not allowed ) or back ( not that effective )

Week 1 – Video 2: Setup Awareness – A, B, C
In this second video of the week, we’re focusing on a key concept in striking: setting up your power shots by reading your opponent. We’re using the A, B, C framework: - A – Action: Throw a jab to provoke a reaction. - B – Behavior: Observe how your opponent responds—does he flinch, pull, parry, or freeze? - C – Capitalize: Use that reaction to land your power strike with precision and intent. This drill isn’t about speed or force—it’s about control, awareness, and decision-making. Use the jab to collect data, then capitalize when the opportunity opens. Smart striking starts here.
