How to judge a "good" Product Roadmap
I found it useful to jump into product maps last week... but I could be clearer on what a good one "looks like." (You can hit a target much more easily when you know what you're aiming at.) Initial brain dump... Effective roadmaps: - Follow the "3 stages, each with 3 steps" format (LOVE chunking it down, for simplicity). - Have stage and step titles that are clear and enticing to potential clients. - Each of the 9 steps produces a result that is useful to, and valued by, the client.
