Because at the end of the day, copywriting isn't this thing where you can sit behind a screen and make 6/7-figures by never talking to anyone. This is business, which is the field of learning how to communicate to people. So if you don't want to get on a zoom, then sure. SOME deals can be closed without it. But realistically, you should face your fears and get out of your comfort zone. Otherwise, you're not going to get super far

Things like "cutting the fluff", "grabbing attention", etc. apply to all other types of copy. The main difference is WHERE in the sales funnel different types of copy are (emails, ads, sales pages, etc.) and WHO you're speaking to. So in short: yes, being good at email copy will make you better at other types of copy. BUT, that doesn't mean you should only practice email. Once you've got email down, practice other forms of copy.
