🔴 Jasper: Copy Review Call is happening in 15 hours
Portfolio for beginners?
👉 Question: From @forbes0072 “Hi Tyson. As a beginner, would you advise adding your portfolio of practice emails” 👉 Answer: For sure, bro. How are you going to show prospects how good you are? They need to see your work up front. Why would someone want to work with you if they can’t see what you’re capable of? People send an application and CV when applying for a job, your portfolio works in the same way. If they’re impressed, it sets you up well for the call. So make sure you’re putting your best pieces of copy in your portfolio for everyone to see.
Don't send emails as free value?
👉 Question: From @forbes0072 *“hey Tyson, you specifically said not to give emails in one of your Tyson teachings or daily questions, please. What else can I give as free value?”* 👉 Answer: The idea isn’t to stop giving out emails. My point is that not every prospect needs emails. Their email marketing could be dialed in, and they don’t need your help, but… … their ads, YouTube scripts, or social media could be struggling and need fresh copy, angles, and ideas. Go and look at their content and funnels to see what copy actually NEEDS improving, instead of just sending what you want to send. Think about it, why would the prospect hire the copywriter sending random emails, over the copywriter who is sending value that actually solves a problem? With those thoughts in mind, get back out there and level up your free value 💪
Should I only outreach to business owners?
👉 Question: From @karsynr754 “Should I contact head honcho of a business or minor roles like sales director etc” 👉 Answer: A sales director isn't a minor role lol, but reaching out to various people in the team is a good idea. Often, business owners are busy, and your message might be missed. Someone who checks emails/DM’s more often, like VA’s or managers, could pass your message on to the person who runs the business. Give it a try… Do you have anything to lose?
Personalizing outreach?
👉 Question: From @destroyed7399 “Should I send personalized follow ups after the first personalized message or keep the messages normal for time.” 👉 Answer: Personalized messages every step of the way, bro. Your prospects want to talk to a human who understands them, their business, and wants to help… … not someone who is sending out the same message, 100s of times, to absolutely anyone and everyone. Do you know what unpersonalized outreach says to your prospects? “I’m cutting corners, trying to send as many messages as I can, and hoping someone replies” 🤡 Do you think that's a good way for prospects to think of you? Put in effort and show that you actually care. That’s how you’ll get clients in the end. That’s exactly what I show my 1-1 students to do, and they’re closing deals every week. You’ve got this 🔥
Should U start outreaching yet?
👉 Question: From @ajnur_etm “Should I start outreaching only with knowing how to write an email or should I wait to learn every copywriting skill like: writing emails, writing and automatizing email sequences, making sales funnels, making sales and landing pages. I will appreciate if you can give me some advice!” 👉 Answer: Bro, you should start outreach ASAP… … Before you can even write really good copy. The thing is, you’ll learn how to write good copy on the job. While you’re outreaching, and creating free value, you’re getting your copy reps. Landing a client can take a while, so it’s important to start as early as possible and increase your chances. Now that you’ve read this message, you’ve got 24 hours to send your first 10 outreaches. And @everyone… the same applies to you. Don’t take your foot off the gas. 4D out 🫡
