@Real One “Man can do what he wills but he cannot will what he wills.” —Arthur Schoppenhauer.
Solipsism, how you will solve it?
I don´t know how much serius i need to be for posting, but here we go. English is not my best lenguage, so try to be patient :D. I feel pretty amazed by the solypsism problem and how to solve it. Descartes Couldn´t solve it without refuting himselft —arguing that the reason couldn´t be trust, and yet, creating a whole sistem by it and saw God by it; the famous cartesian Circle—, staying at the idea of: if you couldn´t think of something, it wouldnt be yours, nor from god himselft. Schoppenhauer Couldn´t prove it completly, he say that the only way to have an normal life, with useful thougs, is to believe that others could feel the same way we do, by comparing our behavior; defining that everything would be of one will. So the question is: how you would solve solypsism ? Maybye a stupid question, but i think is good to open this section more. Pd: I use some simplyfications for the simple fact I´m still on the classic philosophers, barely stepping on Schoppenhauer and olympic skiping Kant (some info, yet no his books), and I assume this chanel would be pretty good on this themes. Also, I didn´t thought that my aplication would be public, sorry!
@Real One Just for follow the conversation, and trying to argue better. It´s correct that this type of thoughs is nothing useful or practical—just see what i wrote about Schoppenhauer—, but it´s kinda interesting of how you would argue the other existence. And starting to respond, you don´t need to thought of everything, just what you see time to time. For example, Descartes couldn´t tell if he was dreaming or he was awake, he donsn´t distinguish both of them with absolute criteria — for my part i can easely distinguish them by the fact that when i am dreaming, i see pitch black and yet more black tones—, beliving that this reality we see is not completly "real", yet corrobored by God himselft —who is all good— and thus: real by fact. For the next contra-argumentation i will use Socrates on his Fedon; he say that we only learn this primary ideas trought remember and experience, what could asure us that we don´t just remember again like he said ? I mean, you could argue the neural new conection created by the learning —each one diferrent adn yet, arose from the same idea— and that´s one good one, but it dosn´t repond completly. The fact that you could believe that you learn skills or thoughs in dreaming is posibble and it´s based on experience here and an weird reasoning z.b the Descartes revelations on his dreams, or when you think you can fly, abstracsism, revelations usw. This examples provides the idea of learning useful things for the real world, and they come from constructions on the dreams. Then, your argumentetion is valid, Schoppenhauer´s alike (similar, i don´t know if i use the correct comparative, not superlative) , but we strive on the same problem: how to solve it by one selft ? Und when i do say by one selft i expect something like Hegel´s ideas of one and the other... That is a very good solution that I just saw writing this. Welp, thanks myself!! (Don´t take seriusly that last comment, i need to thank you by the patience)

@Real One So, here comes a weird ,long and pretty specific post here (by my part). But yea, when i dream i see in scales of dark, the more darker the more likely is to be near. The seeing is like safely pushing your fingers in your closed eyes. For example, that feeling for someone like Newton is more normal to see colours in that spheres ,for mecanical exitation of the cones, more than rods, but it could happend the other way (it´s not abnormal). That´s the better aproximation i can give to what i see in drams or extrapolated imaginations here. That made me easy to distinguish between this 2 states of consciousness. And in feels, I rearely feel nothing too realistic when dreaming, I can see that I am dreaming by the fact that everything is black; no smell, no taste, no pain nor sound or even hearing something (the "dialogues" made on them just comes to my mind). Everything too complex is out, and yet ,everything is visible as far as you would see; the only active feel is the capacity to being touch and do it to some things (no correct weight neither) in a such inferior way, that it donsn´t feel "real". It´s like being in the Hades and be one of that many spectres called for one human; or that inferior state of mind that Nietzsche saw on Human all to Human. Somethimes i can read things, being ilustrated, being advised and scolded too. So dreams relies more on the "function" —like "Jüng´s vision" on them—, than something that just comes every night. That´s one of the reasons i think i don´t remember much of them, and for a long time beliving I don´t have ones —like that trive—, because most nights is just being in the bed until I black out, then i´m back again there, sleped without remember nothing of the last 8 hours like "minecraft sleep". And a fun fact about me is that i haven´t an inner monologue until i hear of it on tv (being a child who couldn´t walk), before that moment it was just things that comes to your mind and they were not very thoughtful (almost instict).
