How much juice to drink
Will you kindly remind me how many ounces we should aim to drink per day? @Nathan Mulder

@April Li it’s a tough call - bc ideally if we open our elimination pathways we wouldn’t be getting those allergic type reactions bc that’s all signs the lymph system is struggling and backed up ya know?

@Nathan Mulder thanks okay. my naturopathic Dr recommended NAC too. I have had a bottle for ages but have been too scared to try. Maybe I’ll try that even to moderate the reactions with fruit! It’s frustrating for me bc I love fruit and raw but struggle so much with the physical pains.

Food Fear & Other Related Topics :D
Hey Y'all, happy Sunday 🥰 I'm coming here today to talk about food fear, the healing process regarding food, and the toxic programs I often see people (myself included) get stuck in during the healing process. Yesterday I posted a photo of a Honeydew milk tea I had from a local boba place. If you know me, you know boba is a new favorite of mine & although I don't consider this a "healing food" I have 0 issues drinking things like this for fun, to enjoy my life. As a society, we create emotional connections with other people and with ourselves through food. Whether that be a family meal cultivating connection and togetherness, or something we eat to feel good, just to enjoy it. Over the years, I thought that connection was not important. I actually bypassed that connection completely because I was using food as a tool to heal myself, so I no longer cared about eating thanksgiving dinner with my family, for example... during the height of my chronic illness, I juice fasted 3 thanksgivings in a row. Why? To prove to myself that I could #1, stay committed to what I was trying to do for myself & #2, overcome my emotional connections toward food and reframe my "family time & connection" to not include food at all... unless of course, someone else in my family was juice fasting or eating clean with me... then we would bond over that. This is problematic for me now, but I'll get to that. Back to my Honeydew Milk Tea :D After I posted that, I had a TON of people ask me about: - sugar content - is there food dye - is there corn syrup - what kind of milk was used - if this is a healthy option while healing - how can you even stand to drink things like this without knowing all the details All valid questions for sure, and these are things I would have asked too, if I were still in the mindset of food being the #1 thing that heals & if I was still struggling with food sensitvities. Throughout the first 5 years of my healing journey with interstitial cystitis, I used food as my main source of healing power. Water fasting, juice fasting, all fruit diet for months, intentional periods of eating raw vegan etc.

learning that Trauma isn’t actually the what of what happened to you but rather your bodies response to something is so profound and highly complicated when healing for sure! ♡
POTS/SIBO/HISTAMINE CONNECTION
Hi Friends, my daughter has been having symptoms in common with POTS and in my research I'm seeing a connection with POTS/SIBO/HISTAMINE. And the symptoms can also be linked to other autoimmune issues as well. Does anyone have any experience with POTS? Or any combination of these issues with similar symptoms? @Brittani Franczek you have Natalia's iris photos and have a session next week, Thank God. This has been such a frustrating road for her (and Mom 😪) I think her speaking with you 1:1 will be so helpful. It hits different hearing it from someone other than Mom The symptoms have kind of evolved over the years. We've done plenty of herbs, juicing, etc but are looking forward to a more organized protocol. - Anxiety - Light headed - Panic attacks- none recently - OCD - Heavy legs, low lower body circulation - Urinary issues like onset urgency - Sometimes rash/itchiness - Low salt - Restless legs - Etc I sense bacterial, gut, kidney, circulation issues. Electrolytes help and a few kind of bandaid treatments aswell but I'm looking to help her truly heal and be done with this. If anyone has any experience to share, I would greatly appreciate it 😊 I am so damn thankful for this community 🙌 🙏 ❤️

@Brittani Franczek I haven’t… I have been asking my aunt to look into that tho. Bc I’ve been wondering if that’s part of why I can’t seem to kick this histamine releasing from almost all foods. It also feels potentially viral to me. Like EBV/shingles/strep flaring up! I had shingles when I was in high school 😳

@Brittani Franczek Absolutely!! That’s why I chose DETOX bc I wanna love on my liver sm rn - She needs it! Using Dandelion rn bc nettle and horsetail have been prompting rashes and all fruits cause rashes too!! They don’t itch it’s just like patches of red dots on my ribs and upper thighs - It’s kinda crazy!! And it moves all over depending the day or how much I try of each herb/fruit. 🤨
Hi 👋
My name is Katie and I've been alive for almost 41 years now. I have a daughter who is almost 5 and she pretty much rules my world. I am so excited to be a part of this community garden and interact with Kool people who care about their health and wellbeing. I consider myself a life long student and this community pretty much covers my favorite topics, so yay! Here's more about me: What are your interests? Dream interpretation, yoga, somatic healing, mindful parenting, nature, animals, GNM, herbs, and skincare What are you here to cultivate? A network that supports higher consciousness and wellbeing Biggest strengths? I'd say my openess to metaphysical concepts Any struggles? Taking action. Creating time and space for self development as a mom. I want more energy and motivation. Recent wins in your life? I recently enrolled in Yoga Teacher Training which starts in January. It's something I secretly always wanted to do didn't allow myself to receive the actual doing until this past fall. Why'd you join us and how can we help you? I am a big fan of Britt and Peter's content on IG as well as their past webinars. I love what they are giving the world and I want to be a part of it ✨️
