Day 8 - What is Coaching and Why?
Today’s Goal: Understand what coaching is — and why every speaker, entrepreneur, and coach needs a coaching program. My Coaching Advice: Coaching is at the core of what I teach. I highly recommend that: - Every speaker have a coaching program to guide audience members beyond the keynote. - Every entrepreneur have a coaching program to deepen client relationships and generate recurring revenue. - Every coach (yes, even coaches!) have a program that scales their message and impact. At its heart, coaching is discipleship. You are helping someone duplicate what you have done, who you have become, or helping them experience the best version of themselves. Let’s be clear about what coaching really is — and what it is not: - Counseling helps someone process and heal from the past so they can move forward. - Teaching/Training gives information that equips people to be productive. - Mentoring shares your experiences and draws parallels to help someone navigate life. - Discipleship leads someone to spiritual enlightenment and using their God-given gifts. But coaching? Coaching is empowering someone to achieve maximum potential by asking the right questions about their current state and helping them find the answers within themselves . Coaching is not about giving people all the answers — it’s about unlocking the answers that are already inside them. Practical Exercise: 📝 Coaching Reflection 1. Write down what coaching means to you in one sentence. 2. Answer these two questions: What type of coach do you currently need? What type of coach do you desire to be? 3. 4. Write down three ways you have already “coached” someone without calling it coaching (e.g., helping a friend solve a problem, asking guiding questions, helping someone see their potential). Call to Action: COMMENT BELOW: Share your definition of coaching in the comments or in your accountability group today. It can be a single sentence or short video. Then share what type of coach you believe you will be.

My definition of coaching is being a listening ear to someone’s situation. Then asking them where they see themselves in the situation. Like what role are they playing in ensuring that they are doing their part. Once they see themselves in the situation I believe they are able to see what needs to be done or changed. After that, then the coach would help them set goals regarding what they need to do to solve the problem. A coach walks with the person, staying in touch, still being available should questions, situations or even doubt/fear arise. That’s the kind of coach I’d like to be. I do that at times when people reach out.
Day 2 - Dare to Decide
Today’s Goal: Make one powerful decision today that supports the vision of your future self. My Coaching Advice: Today is about courage. You’ve seen your future self — now you need to decide that you’re going after it. A decision is the line between “thinking about it” and “becoming it.” Ask yourself: - What choice have I been avoiding that could move me forward? - What can I say “yes” to today that scares me a little but excites me a lot? - What can I say “no” to that no longer serves my future? 💥 Remember: indecision is still a decision — but it rarely leads to the results you want. Practical Exercise 📝 Decision Declaration Write down ONE decision you are making today that lines up with your reset goals (example: “I will commit to waking up 30 minutes earlier,” or “I will stop doubting my ability to speak on live video”). Then, share it with someone you trust or post it in your accountability group for extra support. 🗣️Affirmation of the Day: “I am decisive. My yes is yes, my no is no, and my future is grateful for my courage today.”

@Dwight Riddick great! Thanks! I was jotting down some ideas earlier today.
Day 1 - Reset & Takeoff Challenge - Reset Your Future Self
Day 1 – Reset Your Future Self 💥 Get your 30 day fitness challenge chart in comments💥 Theme: See Your Future Self Todays Goal: reset your mindset by envisioning the person you want to become by the end of September and beyond. MY COACHING ADVICE: 1. Vision Before Action:You cannot reset what you have not clearly seen. Today is about pausing and picturing the “reset version” of yourself — the healthier, more focused, more consistent version. 2. Identity > Activity: Who you believe you are will drive what you do. Before we jump into new habits, we clarify our identity. 3. Future-Focused Questions: What do I want to feel at the end of these 30 days? What results do I want to celebrate? What will I need to let go of to get there? Practical Exercise LIKE THIS POST and tag someone else in the group then: 📝 “Future Self Letter” Write a short letter dated September 30, 2025 describing: - Who you became in these 30 days - What you accomplished - How your life, faith, business, and habits improved 💥Share a photo of your letter in the comments for accountability and then save this letter and re-read it on Day 30. Affirmation of the Day: “I see my future self clearly, and I choose today’s actions to match tomorrow’s vision.”

Hello everyone! My name is Elaine Prioleau. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, author and minister. I have spent the last 20 years working in the healthcare arena. But, as of June 20, 2025, all of that changed. I lost my son unexpectedly. His desire and passion was to start a mentoring program; which interestingly enough, was my desire as well. However, I do not have a program designed or anything put together. But God placed on my heart to finish the work my son desired to see come to fruition. I do not know anything about mentoring boys/young men. But, my desire to help our young men see/appreciate their worth, value what God has placed in them. I want to help them to learn how to self reflect, communicate and find their purpose using practical and biblical based principles.
