Friday Funny (Feline Form)
Each morning before I hop into the shower I have to turn on the sink faucets for the kitties to drink from. Two faucets, two kitties. Perfect. Of course when I emerge from the shower both have usually had enough and are nowhere to be seen. I had @Dr. Heath ‘s audio on gratitude running on my phone which was on the counter next to one of the sinks. Today, when I got out of the shower, there’s Miss P sitting on the hand towel, listening and appearing to be deep in thought. I had to laugh at my thoughts that she was taking this all in. I think I’m about to have at least one very well adjusted cat!! Happy Friday all!!

@Kim Brough They look so adorable, how long have you had your cats. I really want to get one but I really don’t know how my dog would appreciate that.

@Kim Brough I have a small Chihuahua. She barks for every little thing she sees and hears. But your right it may take time for my dog to adjust if I do get a cat. I thank you so much for the advise.
A Bad Day Doesn’t Have to last 24 Hours
When I woke up this morning, I was not in a good frame of mind. I felt sad. I was frustrated. The weekend had been a challenging one, health wise and all plans had to be cancelled once again. I was still recovering but usually by the third day of my flare ups, I start to improve. My mindset was very negative. I wanted no contact with anyone. By 1:00, I half heartedly decided to see what @Dr. Heath ’s space was about today. I loved the topic of dreams so I listened in. As badly as I felt. I found myself challenging myself to speak. Don’t ask me why because I had no idea what made me request the mic. There was a time not long ago, I would NEVER have done that. Anyway, it gave me something else to think about and as the day progressed, I did start to see some improvement as is usually the pattern. I actually did a couple errands, forced myself to eat something and when I got home, spoke in another space. Tonight my body thinks it ran a marathon and in a way, it metaphorically did. But my mind is a little more at peace. Thank you Dr. Heath for not even realizing that you made a difference today. And thank you all for allowing me to share this. Tomorrow will be better! 🙏

Thanks for sharing this will all of us. This helps me out, especially the times that are hitting me right now. We can all make it through the day. We can never think the next day is going to be the same day. The next day is always a new day.🙂

The Wisdom of Hard Things
Mindset Masterclass Weekly Wisdom “A happy life consists not in the absence, but in the mastery of hardships.” — Helen Keller This isn’t just a quote—it’s a cornerstone of our work here. Each of you is here not to escape difficulty, but to train your thinking, reshape your patterns, and build mastery over what you may have once thought unmanageable. Hardship isn’t the enemy. It’s the gym. The forge. The lab. This week, ask yourself: - What hardship have I grown stronger through? - What thought patterns have I upgraded in response to adversity? - Where am I still giving hardship too much control over my mindset? Drop a comment below: What hardship has taught you the most about your own strength? Let’s learn from each other. Let’s GROW through it—not just GO through it. — Dr. Heath | #ShoeLeatherPsychology | #MindsetMasterclass

@Ruth aka Grace Rose Thank you so much for those kind words. I really needed to hear that… I pray everyday for it to get better and it slowly is. We can never rush things that we want to accomplish in life. Thank you so much for welcoming in this class. I hope to hear from you again. 🙂

I always think that if I’m resting I’m being lazy. This is me all the time when I have the time to rest I always think of having to do something else. I can never rest without my brain telling me to get up and do something.

Dr. Heath No I never do 🙂 but that's a very good way on putting It. When I rest I need to start thinking like this.
Dream On
Most of us try and decipher why we might dream what we do. But I’ve always wondered, while dreams may be based on past experiences, are they also giving us a taste of afterlife? To me, there seems to be a clarity I don’t experience in life. And I don’t mean clarity in that they make sense but the sharpness of the feelings I have in the dream. Whether it’s a good dream or bad, the intensity is beyond what I have known in my life. Just wondering about your thoughts @Dr. Heath and all on this subject.
