Hi everybody, I have a wedding in 2 days and I need something new. I really like YOU from Armani and thats my daily scent, I don't like scents like Acqua di Gio. Any recommendations?

SOTD: Sauvage edp by Dior #NoBuySept 20/09/2025 on
Like it or loathe it, Sauvage must be the most sold fragrance on the market today. This is what got me interested in fragrances again after many years. You can blame Johnny Depp as the face of the brand, but the man behind, not only the entire Sauvage line but also over 200 fragrances is Diors head perfumer François Demachy. Ive previously done the edt which you can see here.https://www.skool.com/bos/sotd-sauvage-edt-by-dior-19062025?p=11c73938 But the edp was only released in 2018. It still has that brilliant magnetic cap that is so much fun to play with. For me Sauvage is a versatile, mass-appealing scent that has an impressive performance & a balanced composition. The edp continues the Sauvage evolution with a smoother, warmer, slightly more refined take on the original dna. The fragrance opens with a burst of fresh, juicy Calabrian bergamot. This bright, zesty citrus note is a signature of the Sauvage line and provides an invigorating introduction. The heart of the EDP is where it truly differentiates itself. The sharp, peppery notes of the EDT are softened and enriched with the addition of star anise & a touch of lavender. This creates a smoother, more rounded spicy with an aromatic core. Then the base is where the warmth and sensuality come to life. Ambroxan, a synthetic note that mimics ambergris, provides a clean, musky & slightly sweet undertone. This is beautifully complemented by the addition of Papua New Guinean vanilla extract, which adds a creamy, smoky sweetness that makes the fragrance feel more comforting & luxurious. Overall, the scent is a lovely blend of fresh citrus, warm spices, and a woody-ambery base. It's less sharp and metallic than the EDT, making it a more versatile option. Performance is super good here as you would expect im at around 9 solid hours. Projection is real good too, it creates a noticeable scent bubble that makes an impression but isn't so intense that it becomes offensive. It's a true "all-rounder" fragrance that can be worn in almost any situation, any season. Oh and dont forget that atomizer is amazing, like a pressurized sprayer.

Picked up Club de Nuit Intense Man Edt and Afnan Supremacy Collector's Edition last week and have been enjoying both. Afnan Supremacy Collector's Edition sure packs a punch with it's room filling power 🔥

@Edgar Mertins that’s what made me pick Supremacy CE over Precieux. I’m happy with my choice.
