To my nose, it occupies the exact same territory as heavy hitters like Dior Homme Cologne, Xerjoff Renaissance, and Tom Ford Mandarino di Amalfi. However, in my experience, it consistently blows those contemporaries out of the water when it comes to longevity. Going with Montblanc Explorer for a basic cheap and masculine scent that doesn’t go wrong. Nice citrus and woods off the top. Useful in any situation.

They have direct ties to both Xerjoff, Al Haramain, and the specific DNA of Amber Oud Gold Edition; Francisco is responsible for creating many of Al Haramain's core collection while his son Christian created the iconic niche hit Xerjoff Erba Pura. - Carbonnel S.A. is the external creative powerhouse that partnered with Al Haramain to formulate the broader Amber Oud LIne.
