5 contributions to From Job to CEO The Experiment
One Win
It's May 1st for most of you (not me but who cares!) and we're four months into 2026. Drop one win from your business this year - big, small, embarrassing, whatever. First sale. First subscriber. Finally sending that email you'd been avoiding for three weeks. All of it counts. Go. 👇

I am organzing a B2B bundle and got 25 apps and the reach is almost 90,000 contacts.
Experiment 1 update + Experiment 2 starts tomorrow 🧪
The ad numbers: 71 members | 76% engagement | Discovery rank 1,937 Visitors spiked significantly, from 10 to 155 then 254... the ad is clearly working. Conversions to signups? Not so much! So today I have updated my about page to hopefully make it even clearer the match of what people are clicking on the advert for. Now we wait and see if the gap closes. 6 days left on the 100 member goal... unlikely. But I said I'd run the experiment and document everything, so here we are. Experiment 2 starts May 1 (that's tomorrow for me). You voted. The results are in favour of Option B: 3x daily posting across Skool communities for 30 days. Claude, who I am training to support me, disagreed (strongly, in case you're wondering 😂 - I got a "I have told you 3 times to deprioritise..." blah blah) and voted for Option D: one sales conversation per day. The argument being that selling is the point of a business and I've been avoiding it...which is fair. But @Roberto Srpak framework made sense: content → conversation → conversion and the feedback from @Lidia Axe and @Virginia Schobel about showing up consistently before going into selling mode fits with me. So B it is. (And Claude does not get to decide for me but is fun to play with 😂). I'll track discovery rank, new members, engagement rate and whether it actually leads to any sales conversations naturally. Starts tomorrow...

B2B PROFIT$ Powerhouse Bundle apply by May 18th
I am hosting a B2B bundle called PROFIT$ Powerhouse Bundle. Here is the application here. Deadline is May 18th.
Reflection - Hosting a Bundle
So its Friday evening in New Zealand and I've been reflecting on how hosting my first bundle is going and I thought I'd share why I decided to do it because it did not start with some brilliant strategic plan 😂 It started with a rejection. A few months ago I applied to be a contributor in a bundle. Didn't get in. And honestly, it was a little annoying! Not because I thought my offer wasn't good enough, but because it made me realise I had no control. I'd done a couple of bundles by that point and the growth hadn't been what I'd hoped. And every time I went looking for the next one to join, I hit the same wall. A lot of bundles weren't quite the right fit or just too broad to bring in my specific audience. There was almost nothing for the person I actually am and the person I actually help. The one who is still in their job. Still in a senior leadership career. Sitting on nearly two decades of skills and experience and quietly wondering - could this become something? Could I actually build a business from what I already know? I couldn't find a bundle that fit that person. So I decided to build one. 21 contributors later, 330+ sign-ups, and the bundle has another 2 days to go. I had absolutely no idea if I would get contributors and sign ups. I'd never hosted a bundle before. But that's kind of the whole point of stepping into something new - you try and see if it works. For a first bundle hosting experience, I'm pretty happy. And I am probably going to do it again. So that experiment (so far 😅) was worth it. I'm going to call it a win. If you're reading this and you're in the place of being still employed, wondering if your skills and experience could become a business - I created a (free!) framework to help you identify what you could sell from your work experience/skills/qualifications etc . The From Job to CEO framework is completely free and it's the starting point for figuring out exactly what you could sell: 👉 leadershipwithniky.com/from-job-to-ceo

Experiment #1 Update 2!
Welcome to all of you who recently jumped on board, we are now at 21 members! 🥳. Goal - 100 in 30 days... Update: → what worked: a direct follow-up email to the 16 waitlist people who hadn't joined yet - several of you came straight in. Yay! Lesson for me, if people aren't acting it's usually because you haven't asked directly enough. → what also worked: mentioning the community in another Skool group (shout out to @Sage Grayson for supporting me to post in your group ☺️) A few new faces came through that way. → today's experiment: I have over 330 people so far who just signed up for my From Job to CEO bundle. They're already interested in the topic. While the group was mentioned in that first email, really who is reading that - we just want to get to the great offers in the bundle! So today I'm going directly email with a standalone mention - not buried in a PS, its own paragraph, one clear ask. My hypothesis: someone who signs up for a bundle is already more action-oriented than cold traffic. They should convert better to a free community. We'll see. 👀 I'll report the numbers tomorrow. 21 down. 79 to go. 27 days left. What would you do today to get to 100? I'm open to ideas - this is an experiment after all. 😊
