What if some of the best sex of your life is still ahead of you? 💋
Tomorrow kicks off Real Talk: The Relationship Experience, a free three-day virtual summit, October 12–14, and I'll be joining two panels. I've been thinking a lot about how our bodies, desires, and relationships change as we get older. We spend so much time remembering what sex used to be like. But we sometimes forget how much we've learned along the way. We may have had younger bodies, but that doesn't mean we were better lovers. And that's part of what I'm looking forward to talking about! 🌸 Monday, October 12 | 3:30 PM PT The Body You're In Now We'll be talking about body image, confidence, pleasure, and what it means to actually enjoy the body we're living in today. 🔥 Wednesday, October 14 | 2:30 PM PT Sex After 40: The Questions People Actually Have Changing desires, erections that don't always cooperate, sexual confidence, and all those questions people have about sex as they get older but don't always know who to ask. The summit has three days of conversations about love, sex, intimacy, friendship, family, and connection. There will be audience questions, games, a comedian, and lots of opportunities to participate. It's free, and you can come for one conversation or stay for the whole thing. I'd love to have you join me for one or both of my panels. Bring your questions and your curiosity! 👉 Join Real Talk: The Relationship Experience Because some of the best sex of your life might still be ahead of you. 😏 P.S. There are so many smart people speaking at this summit, and they're offering some fantastic free resources. With all that wisdom and those extra goodies available, the upgrade is well worth it!

I'm shutting up shop. That's it.
Sorry not sorry for the title. I'm closing my Skool Monetization Lab community, and the reason is simple. I give away good content for free, and free members don't act on it the way my paying members do. I'm in my 50s, and I don't have time to waste like the younger "whippersnappers" (I have never written that word before 🤣). For me, time is currency, so I looked at this as return on time. In my paid communities, people have put money in, so they turn up and do the work. In SML, free content gets treated like a free sample. People take it and don't act on it 😏 That gives me a simple rule on pricing: 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰: a low-priced subscription is the better model, because paying filters for people who will act. 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁: stay free. A price on an empty room only leaves you with an empty room. My own traffic comes from YouTube, and that's what keeps my paid communities full. Two more reasons. There are now a lot of free communities teaching the same thing, so it's hard to look different from the one next door. And the same hours in my other communities earn more. I use one test. If I'm not hearing at least one "KACHING" a week, the time and resources are being wasted. SML started as a test, and it worked at the beginning. Then Skool changed the rules. I'm not going to sit and cry about it. I've never been afraid to kill what isn't working, so I'm closing the doors. 𝗜'𝗺 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. 𝗔 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗶𝘃𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿. Here's how to check yours this week: Add up the hours you spent on it last month, including posting, replying and prep. Then count the sales, bookings or paid sign-ups that came from it. Divide the hours by the sales and you have your number. If you can't point to at least one sale a week, ask yourself two questions. Do I bring my own traffic? Would the people in here pay for what I give them? If the answer to the first is no, the pivot may be as small as changing who you're bringing in.
I'm shutting up shop. That's it.

Wanna make better images??
Sure, you can feed anything into ai and generate 100’s of images to use wherever… You can take more time to design things in canva or use their premade templates… But how do you feel when you look at what you’ve made?? Does it look like anyone else’s stuff in your niche? Does it look polished and perfect and sterile?? Before your brain convinces you that it’s “good enough” and “no one will notice”… Mayhaps check out Defunk’d Design Because yes people do notice the ai slop, the canvas templates, and the fact they have seen something similar a bajillion times already and their brain goes “keep swiping”… Whether you are designing images for organic content, paid ads, skool group cards, or any other biz related images we have you covered. Yes we chat how to use ai without getting ai slop including common “ai tells” as they pop up) What’s working and not working for the community owners in the room… We have calls so we can make tweaks and brainstorm live! And you can crowdsource to get others thoughts plus my own. Why want my thoughts? Cause I was a paid creator for skool ads for over 9 months and have an extensive history of creating balance in art, color theory, and also messaging that converts… so you don’t have to become a wizard all at once or settle for “good enough” that never seems to actually get the clicks you want 🤪 👇🏻 What’s the biggest issue that comes up for you when you are creating images for your biz??

I don't like the AI images I have used. Better than nothing and honestly I find I really have to trust the person or want the info to go beyond an AI image. Everything now looks the same
💙 For Skool Friends, An Analysis of the NEW Trending Discovery
Hey friends in the Classifieds, Did you see Skool News this week? They mentioned there would be some wonkiness and changes in Discovery. We now have a new algorithm. AND last week, we found out that we could move the slider from 30% to 70% to give Skool a larger commission, as a help with potentially getting more traffic. What I believe is that Skool's new efficiency score is almost exclusively what is determining the ranking on the trending page. It looks at conversion rates, traffic, income and revenue, but also the Growth Boost percentage (we have the option to slide from 30% all the way up to giving Skool 70% of our revenue in order to get more traffic). And perhaps other details I've missed or simply am not privy to. In practice, that means that "trending" is almost more like an auction or marketplace for how much revenue a group can bring to Skool, rather than a more traditional meaning of how popular something is. This is way more than popularity. The 30 communities on page 1 more or less show which groups Skool's algorithm currently sees as the most profitable / "efficient" to promote. THE FORMULA IS LIKE THIS: Expected value per visitor ≈ Conversion rate * expected customer LTV * Growth Boost percentage (and then some other bits that surely factor in, like the amount of traffic a group is sending to Skool) MORE PERSONAL OBSERVATIONS - A lot of the Platinum program folks are there (meaning: those supported by Skool's platinum program, with at least 1/3 who were in it) - Many have huge audiences and are likely sending a lot of traffic to Skool - Most didn't have tiers OR had simple tiers dynamic (24 out of 30 didn't have tiers, in the top 10 NONE of them had tiers!) - ZERO free or freemium groups - Many of the groups are way more expensive than just a couple weeks ago what you'd see on page 1. Now the average entry price is around $100 - The majority have at least 100k followers - Vast majority have strong promises or guarantees --> first client in 90 day, $1k/day, $2k/mo, get hired, get funded, hit $100k/mo, close on the first call, money-back guarantee - More than 2/3 have an annual plan and those are often steeply discounted

Need your help
As you know, @Shannon Boyer kicked off the #AdSprint yesterday. I've got one ad spot but two potential communities and an offer. My main community is PiggyBANKING Brand Creators where PiggyBANKERS are building credibility fast by licensing proven products and putting their name behind something that already works… without creating their own courses, without building products from scratch, and without waiting years to be seen as an authority. My second community (currently archived) is Ready-To-Buy-Now Leads Machine where we generate dozens to hundreds of READY-TO-BUY-NOW leads in 2 - 24 hours... by running 5 and 6-figure FUN auctions right in Skool that creates crazy engagement and excitement with our audience...WITHOUT ads, SEO or posting to every social media account known to man. Here's where I need help. Which community resonates with you the most? Or should I just skip the communities all together and create an ad about how a surfer named Travis got 47,000 leads in 10 days using 7 year old content? Let me know which way I should go! - CLASSIFIED Chad
