Just listened to the recording and wrote down a lot. This was a good reminder of some of the basic nutrition tips I have heard before and new ones. and again just having some simple ideas for meals and not trying to learn new recipes or chef recipes. I like really focusing on basic nutrition and what my body and mind need rather than a diet.

Even though I have heard this before, I find it hard to implement. I do try to think about what meals I could prepare when grocery shopping and have things in the freezer to take out. And veggies to chop up for dinner.

@Marissa Thoren I think a lot of people can struggle with emotional eating, when sad or as a reward. I guess baby steps in replacing emotional eating with a short walk, a relaxation video, journal, healthy snack. and have a mantra such as I deserve to reward myself in a positive way.

Thanks for the pep talk. Afternoon one for me. I really like this mindset and I have already written a goal of having salad for 2 or 3 dinners a week. I want to work on prepreparing some protein for lunches. even boiled eggs.

I just finished the 10 Minute journaling challenge and it went by fast. I wrote about how I don't remember much about my childhood except from photos and stories told to me like I crawled backwards first and would get stuck. And about a recent experience of going through a scrap book I made during high school and reading an old letter which brought back so many memories I didn't remember. I could have kept writing too. Thanks
