SOTD: Michael Malul Arashi Reef
I have worn this a couple of times now. The new Gents Scents collaboration. This one is very fruity in the opening. Passion fruit, tangerine in the opening. With sandalwood and Vetiver as it dries down. I think this one smells similar to both Xerjoff Erba Pura or Michael Malul Citizen Jack Absolute. Work safe/ spring or summer/ daytime/ casual. Presentation is in the Michael Malul new bottles. Teal green bottle with gold cap that snaps into place. Same great pressurized atomizers that they use. Longevity is about 7 hours with pretty good projection in the heat 2-3 ft in the first couple of hours. This one gives me tropical vibes for sure. This is a perfect summer time choice in the heat.

Thanks for this heads up. You just saved me from a questionable blind buy. It does not sound bad but like @Edgar Mertins im not sure I would wear to often.
Converting samples
We talk about this a lot, but @Jeffrey Plotka 's recent post got me thinking: Which sample / decants have you been so excited about that you converted it to a full bottle purchase? Does it happen a lot? Or do you more often than not finish up a sample and then never go back to that fragrance again? My samples that I converted: Boss Bottled Elixir City Rhythm Nashville (thank you again @Raul Olveda!) Mancera Cedrat Boise Mancera Black Noir Mancera Aoud Lemon Mint Replica Jazz Club Replica Never-ending Summer and pretty much all of the Imaginary Authors bottles I own Would love to know what's made it off the sample wish list to the full bottle own list.

Don’t mention it. I am glad you are enjoying it.
Calling Amouage fans
Ok, my 50th is coming up in Sep. I think I have decided to go with a few bottles of Amouage to start my collection. For the Amouage fans, need your help. If I were to only get 4-6 bottles ever, what would you recommend? I want to start getting samples and trying them out to narrow down the ones I want to get.

Royal tabaco, Reflection, Jubilation and Black Iris.
Pay attention to details - scammers
Hey Gang, I was scrolling through FB Marketplace and saw this. Folks gotta look at the details User is posting in Richmond, CA, but receipt is from Columbus, OH. Receipt is for Lafayette St but pic is for Xerjoff. Just a reminder to not jump a deal that looks to go to be true because most of the time it is. As the frag com grows, the scammers and fakes increase and increase.

Battle of the Polo's
Time to choose sides. Pick your Polo! Polo 67 and Polo Green represent two distinct eras of Ralph Lauren masculinity, with Polo 67 leaning into a modern, bright citrus-woody freshness while Polo Green delivers a dense, classic green chypre profile rooted in tradition. Polo 67 opens with lively bergamot and pineapple that feel clean and athletic, whereas Polo Green begins with herbal, spicy, almost forest-like notes that immediately read as deeper and more assertive. As they develop, Polo 67 stays smooth and versatile with aromatic sage and vetiver, while Polo Green evolves into a richer blend of oakmoss, leather, and tobacco that feels heavier and more vintage. In terms of wearability, Polo 67 is easier for everyday use—especially in warm climates—while Polo Green thrives in cooler weather or more formal, evening settings. Ultimately, Polo 67 projects a confident, contemporary “sport luxury” identity, whereas Polo Green embodies a timeless, rugged sophistication that feels rooted in heritage and tradition. Between the two, I give the edge to Polo 67, What say you!

Green was my first love. So I have to go with the OG.
