🚨New Pickup🚨
French Avenue: Cocoa Morado - $39.99 (An alternative to Maison Crivelli Oud Cadenza) I’ve been seen this one around quite a while and I was never interested on it, until I tried it at a fragrance store and I couldn’t get it out of my mind for 2 weeks. So, I went back to get it today. This is a remarkable scent profile, and I can’t wait to give it a full wear.

I will be honest it kinda scares me. I might have to give it a chance now.
Maison Alhambra Winsome
Here’s my take on Maison Alhambra Winsome — and how it stacks up against YSL Tuxedo. Overall vibeWinsome lives in that same “dressed up, smooth, dark-sweet” lane that made Tuxedo famous: a polished patchouli with a classy sweetness and a slightly spicy edge. It comes across confident, date-night ready, and easy to wear when you want to smell expensive without being loud. The scentOpening: I get a clean burst of peppery spice with a slightly sweet, aromatic lift. It doesn’t feel harsh—more like a crisp snap that sets up the rest of the scent. Mid (heart): The core is where it shines: sweet-leaning patchouli with a smooth, lightly resinous feel. It has that tailored-jacket personality—sharp lines but soft fabric. Drydown: It settles into a warm amber-vanilla woody base with patchouli still present, but smoother and more blended. This is the part that gets the most compliments because it reads clean, rich, and put together. Scent rating: 8.3/10It’s a very wearable, mass-appealing take on the DNA—cleaner and slightly sweeter than the ultra-refined designer feel. Sillage (projection)Winsome is moderate. It projects well for the first hour or two, then stays closer to the body but leaves a pleasant trail when you move. Sillage rating: 7.5/10Not a room-filler, but definitely noticeable, especially indoors or in cooler air. LongevityOn skin it typically sits in the 6–8 hour range, with the base hanging on longer on clothes. Longevity rating: 8/10Good endurance for the price category, and it keeps a polished smell through most of the wear without collapsing into something cheap. Winsome vs. YSL Tuxedo Similarities• Same overall patchouli-amber elegance• Both give that formal, night-out, classy profile• Both are great in fall, winter, and cool evenings Differences• Tuxedo is more refined, airier, and higher-definition—the spices and patchouli feel more tailored and luxurious.• Winsome is a touch sweeter and denser, with a slightly more straightforward blend.• Tuxedo feels more balanced and smooth from start to finish, while Winsome is punchier up top and warmer in the drydown.

Great review. I just wore it to Council on Thursday. It a great inexpensive substitute for the OG.
What are the best fragrances for college?
Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well. I would like to know what you consider to be the best day fragrances to use in university. Since it is not a place where fragrances are commonly worn, I would like to hear your opinion on which scents work best without being "too much".

Mes Bisous Tobacco Flirting with Vanilla
Trying this on one of @Antonio Centeno’s video recommendations. Gotta say it’s a much smoother and better version of Tobacco and Vanille by Tom Ford. The Cherry note adds a more palatable smoothness to the scent and more wearability to me. Seeing as I’m in Wisconsin this weekend and it’s 20 degrees out, this one cuts through the cold and projects well. I’m 7 hours in and still catching whiffs of it and I only sprayed on skin and not my clothes. Would definitely recommend over Tobacco and Vanille personally. I purchased a decant from maxaroma but this is FBW for me for winter. For me, Tobacco and Vanille is excellent in the dry down but overwhelming up front. For Tobacco Flirting, it’s better all the way through. Dry down is more linear but the cherry comes out a little more.
