I wonder if you are able to pre-record our Tuesday meditation and then play it, if that would take care of the freezing? Just a thought.
Oh my goodness! YAY!
Shanna! I tried today's Daily Yoga. Guess what?! I did it! with the exception of plank to Cobra. I started on the going down to a count of 4 but my wrists started to give out so I went to a knee plank and went down then followed to going back up. The only modifications I used were the blocks for the plank. Then when you were doing the knee to nose /elbow stuff I couldn't touch said appendages, but I tried! Whenever I began to wobble I used the Ujjayi breath and it worked. I am getting so much more flexible! THANK YOU! It is even helping my mood.

@Shanna Stein I don't want any popping going on in my body. LOL, but that makes sense.
Ujjayi and other noisy breathing exercises
So....this question is for you Shanna.... how long did it take for you, in front of other people, not to feel self conscious or even embarrassed to do these specific breathing exercises, chants, prayers etc? I mean my son just walked by and thought I was choking. Some of the others, I wait until I am alone. 🤣

I have done this type of breathing before a few years ago. Never with a nose ring.. until today🤣

Mindful meditation
Playing a little catchup here. For a 15 year stretch, I was in a denominations that view meditation as something sinful. A practice that allowed the devil to take control of your mind. Once I left the church a few years ago, I found myself still resistance to meditation because they are bad in some way. When I tried the type of meditation where you feel warmth, and the warmth moves through your body, I became frustrated because I never felt that warm fuzzy feeling. What is wrong with me? Or this s**t is for hippies. lol Another problem I had was my mind would wander. I felt like I was doing something wrong. Speaking of labels I feel like I am broken and I am so broke I cannot do something as simple as meditation. I am finding that just like learning yoga, coming up with things to be grateful for, believing in mantras, that meditations takes time to learn and practice. However I am still not certain I will ever feel the heat of the sun if I am not sitting outside.
