Partnering w/ Platinum Rapper Twista
Everybody found a new hobby summer of 2020 and without live concerts, Twista used his free time to get extremely proficient at competitive shooting, becoming a nationally certified firearms instructor and starting a training company called The Gun Camp. The outside sales team I piloted hit $2.2M in its first full year 2019, and when Twista and I met August of 2020, our team had just hit half of what ended up being a $20.2M year. With his audience, T could have trained anywhere, but he wanted to bring safety to his local communities right in Chicago, and when he found out how our team could help his students, it quickly became a no brainer for him and his partners. In fact, it could be just because it was so long ago, but I honestly don't even remember us talking about compensation. It was no secret our end goal was to sell memberships, no question, but being able to protect students after leaving class..? That's something T wanted to make sure his students were 100% aware of, and having our guys show up in person for every event made it all the more valuable. Although he's back traveling the world's stages, our work with his team remains one of our largest partnerships in the country. Most salespeople and business owners flounder when it comes to creating strong referral partnerships, including us at first... Until we cracked the code and nationally went on to sell multiple 9 figures through referral partnerships ever since. @Mike F Bauer Niccceeee. I’m a 20 year member at Easton Fish and Game, which I believe there’s a flag in the clubhouse. I rarely go into the club house. I’m usually on range, in and out. lol. Ironically, we were out in Wisconsin back in May with a men’s group we have, and spent the day at Vortex. We did a tour and we got to shoot in the 100 yard indoor range. What a company!!! What an experience.

@Mike F Bauer a lot of times, they start in person. Usually after, it turns to phone or zoom touches. Ironically, we end up meeting in person at local different events. Referred new connections from those old ones, are typically some 3 way intro (text/email) then turns into phone call or zoom because of the credibility of that intro. It’s pretty unique when I think about it.

@Mike F Bauer here’s the example. Our model works great with B2B from anyone involved with lending and credit. The consumer doesn’t care until they need something and don’t know what to do next. If a mortgage lender has their pipeline with a lot of approvals but also a good amount of dequals. The dequals are mostly Credit failures. A good mortgage lender will keep a bunch of those in a Credit Repair pipeline the ones that don’t turn and burn especially in crazy real estate times like the last couple years they’re not gonna last as long and probably be out of the business because they don’t have anywhere else to go. They need to create new leads and they don’t have any old ones in the funnel. A lot of the lenders we still work with a partner with today are still around because of this it amazes me how many people in any type of lending industry throw those leads out because they can’t qualify and will call him back a year or two later when most of the time they found somebody else or think they’re never ever gonna be in a situation to buy because of their credit.
