Are you a BENEFIT or a DISTRACTION? [VIDEO]
On today's short live, I cover an important lesson I learned from a mentor of mine on the three growth strategies of any business...Organic growth, Acquisition growth, and Distribution growth. Although by pure definition, referral partnerships fall under the organic growth strategy, better understanding how to position your partnership as close to a Distribution growth partnership is something I believe anyone can benefit from considering. The irony here is that as I give a teaser on being a benefit and NOT a distraction, I have two 'friends' join us to create a chaotic video that's too silly for a take 2....I'll let you see for yourself. Summary points: your referral partnerships should always benefit your partners beyond just a transactional exchange of money. Find a way to bring REAL value to their business, and a great frame to consider could start by asking, "how can we become the 'sugar to their 'cake?'"
