A bit of fun,
Who everyones best 3 Pro keepers past and present 1 Gianluigi Buffon, got to be best, I never seen a weakness, a legend of the game. 2 pepa Reina, his distribution was incredible 3 Brice Samba, got forest into prem, and inspired my son to be keeper, with his playoffs simi final against Sheffield utd I'd like to see Ray's 3 aswell as others

Keeper playing outfield
My 12 year old daughter plays in goal, but wants to spend some of the game as an outfield player 50/50. Coaches simply won’t do it even if it’s an easy game. I’d be interested in other teams and how they develop the goalie? Thanks MN

My son plays for bottom of league Saturday and bottom Sunday, which I think is best option for learning, results don't matter, but do understand where your daughter coming from if she as nothing to do, if it was me I'd stop behind if for 30min or so, and do a 1 to 1 session with her, so it feels like she as done something👍

Morning All, all the way from Derbyshire, Owen is getting ready for his match, been telling him don't dwell on mistakes, Next shot matter🧤
Thoughts on this
I saw this on FB and I have to say I agree with the quotes 🚨 "Being a good person is like being a goalkeeper. No matter how many goals you save, some people will only remember the one you missed." 🗣️ Pep Guardiola : "I would say the 'keeper is the most important player on the team, more than a striker, the 'keeper is fundamental." 🗣️ Ter Stegen: "People from outside don't know how difficult it is to be a Goalkeeper." 🗣️ Gianluigi Buffon : "In the end, you need to be a little masochistic to be a goalkeeper. A masochist and egocentric as well." 🗣️ Peter Shilton : "As a goalkeeper, you need to be good at organizing the people in front of you and motivate them. Just like a good manager in the business." 🗣️Brad Friedel : "For a goalkeeper, there is no hiding place." 🗣️ Eduardo Chillida : "The qualities of a good goalkeeper are exactly the same as a good sculptor. In both professions, one should have a good relationship with time and space." 🗣️ Steve Carell : "Goalies rarely get credit for winning a game, but they always get blamed for losing a game." 🗣️ Ian Rush : "It's best being a striker. If you miss five, then score the winner, you're a hero. The goalkeeper can play a blinder, later, let one in and he's a villain." 🗣️ Gary Speed : "Everybody makes mistakes, but when goalkeepers make them, it is costly. That's the nature of being a goalkeeper." 🗣️ Kevin Keegan : "You can't become a good goalkeeper without being mature." Being a GK ain't easy as it looks! Happy International Goalkeepers Day! 👏🔥

Why Goalkeepers Must Keep Showing Up: (Daily Tip 20)
The Power of Persistence: Being a goalkeeper is one of the toughest roles in football. It comes with immense pressure, constant scrutiny, and moments when it feels like nothing is going your way. But here’s the truth: the only way to grow and succeed is to keep showing up, even when things are hard. It’s easy to feel discouraged after a tough game, a mistake, or a string of bad performances. Self-doubt creeps in, and you might wonder if it’s worth it. But every goalkeeper—no matter how great—has faced those moments. The difference between those who succeed and those who don’t is persistence. Every save you make, every goal you concede, every game you play teaches you something. Growth doesn’t come from perfection; it comes from resilience. By showing up, even when things aren’t going well, you prove to yourself and others that you have the heart of a fighter. So, keep training, keep stepping onto the field, and keep putting yourself in the game. Progress is built one day at a time, one save at a time. And remember: tough times don’t last, but tough goalkeepers do WHATS YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS ? COMMENTS BELOW ⬇️.
