Etsy Payment
Hey guys, struggling to wrap my head around when I'm going to start seeing money I've earned on Etsy become available for deposit. Started my shop about a month ago and luckily have seen a decent amount of sales fly in over this time. However, this means I've had to put down a lot of money in to PrintShrimp in order to fulfil orders. I know there's something about Etsy profit not becoming available for 14 days, as well as a reserve for new shops, however, I can't seem to figure out when I'll actually start seeing the money available for deposit. I'm seeing multiple sales coming in everyday, but no money available for deposit, meaning I'm ploughing money in to PrintShrimp and just operating at a huge loss. Understand I essentially I just have to wait but with every sale I'm out of pocket even more until Etsy actually makes my funds available. Can anyone help clear this up a little bit more for me? Thanks!

@Tom Owen Have Etsy put a reserve on your shop and are you using tracked delivery? For me, Etsy are taking 30% for the reserve and are drip feeding me based on the delivery status from tracking or 45 days later. Guessing these limits vary for everyone though!

@Tom Owen thats very odd, I’d speak with Etsy to understand why you can’t see anything. Are you spending on ads?
Mock ups
Did anyone else decide then didn’t like their main mock up after listing 165 items then spend 3 hours updating the whole store with a new one for each listing? Just me?🤣 If you’re starting out make sure you nail your first listing because if you’re copying the listing for similar items it’s a real ball ache🫠

Are you guys creating your own mock ups or using templates either free or purchased from Etsy?
Print Shrimp poster a day overdue
Hi team. I ordered a poster for a customer on the 2nd of December and still don't have the tracking to be able to complete on Etsy. Now a day overdue on completing. Do I need to change my processing time as well as delivery times due to Christmas? Thanks

@Liam Collins For what it’s worth, I mark these as complete and set the date at +3 or +4 days, depending on where it’s going to avoid overdue. Should you miss the window of adding the tracking number once received just drop the customer a message with it and the link on how to track.. I’ve had no issues with this so far!
help
Been on Esty around 2 and a half months now no sales yet just wondering if I could get some tips and pointer for improvement as I'm sure there's more I could be doing. Using Everbee for my keyword research, just started ads on a small scale too. Just at a bit of a loose end any help would be appreciated :) https://www.etsy.com/shop/DovedalePrints?ref=dashboard-header

Hi Ben. I like the store and you’ve got some great prints! I’m certainly no expert and haven’t been going long either (45 sales in 4 months) but a couple of things I’ve noticed that might help: - Listing descriptions - there’s a lot of information on each listing about your store and you as opposed to the individual piece of art you’re selling. Keywords from your listing title, description and tags should all be consistent. - Not sure how effective it is but video listings. You can pick one up for either free online or incredibly cheap on Etsy. use AI to help review your images and listings
Priority Printing
Hi everyone. I’ve seen Tom’s recent changes to tackle the Royal Mail back log by introducing the +£2 for tracking on A4. I was sorting an order out earlier and noticed ‘Priority’ is also an option. I haven’t seen anything on Print Shrimp about this or in the forum. Anybody use it, know more about it or where I can find out more about it? Thanks!
