Hi everyone, my name is Dan the running man from South Africa and I'm 58. I've been running for about 12 years now and a former cyclist and Ironman triathlete. I've done numerous Half marathons, Marathons and Ultra marathons on both road and trail, including the Comrades Ultra marathon. I'm at a point in my running career where I no longer have the desire to race competitively... been there, done that. I now just do it for the love of running. I've been training with the Maffetone method for a few years now and firmly believe in it. My favourite thing to do is going for a long run wearing very minimal shoes or sandals at an easy pace surrounded by nature. Your videos resonate with me Herb, so I'm here to learn from all of you so that I can run till I'm ancient šŸ˜„
