Counting this as a huge win for me. I went to the workshop but was super late because of traffic but I still went in. It was on musicality and transitions. So I watched a bit from the sidelines and I recognized someone there from the rink in Canada and our Borderline event. She got me out there rolling! Then by the end of the class I was able to freestyle a little. And check this .. I WENT IN THE MIDDLE! I couldn’t believe it. Me and this lady made a little simple routine and got out there 🥰❤️ so proud of me lol!

Im in Kansas City and own a Skate school, SK8SHOT Studios.

Aesthetically these are just dreamy! This is the first time I’ve done a complete custom skate, head to toe. Finally replaced my Chicago Skates of 10 years. I researched for 2 weeks and had to come to a decision within my budget! For 60 bucks! I had my heart set on the floral Impalas but I thought these Papaisson “leather uppers” would sustain. When I become an intermediate skater, I will get suede! But for now, I’m content. I need to break them in a bit!
