Sunday check-in đ & What âhealing discomfortâ actually looks like
When people start nervous system or somatic work, they often expect healing to feel calm, peaceful, or relieving straight away. In reality, healing can feel uncomfortable at first and, that doesnât mean something is wrong. Attached in an illustration of some green flags that show your nervous system is healing, even if it doesnât feel great yet (yes, I played with NotebookLM to create it đ). ⨠Reminder: Healing doesnât always feel good. Sometimes it feels strange, intense, or disorienting because your nervous system is learning a new way to organise safety. If you notice these signs, it doesnât mean youâre going backwards. It usually means something old is loosening and something new is learning how to land.
