Sunday check-in 💛 & What “healing discomfort” actually looks like
When people start nervous system or somatic work, they often expect healing to feel calm, peaceful, or relieving straight away. In reality, healing can feel uncomfortable at first and, that doesn’t mean something is wrong. Attached in an illustration of some green flags that show your nervous system is healing, even if it doesn’t feel great yet (yes, I played with NotebookLM to create it 😉). ✨ Reminder: Healing doesn’t always feel good. Sometimes it feels strange, intense, or disorienting because your nervous system is learning a new way to organise safety. If you notice these signs, it doesn’t mean you’re going backwards. It usually means something old is loosening and something new is learning how to land. This was a reminder I needed to hear for myself this week, so I wanted to share it in case you needed it too 🫶 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Before we move into a new week, let’s pause for a moment. - What’s one thing you can celebrate about yourself this week? - What’s one small way you’d like to support (or challenge) yourself next week? 👉 Do you need help, reflection, or support with anything right now?

Oh I see a notebookLM flow. Don’t you love it? I get an outstanding observation report from my head teacher on Tuesday was absolutely over joyed. This week I need to revamp both my shops
🎄 Self-Help Christmas Wishlist 📚
I’m putting together a little self-help / growth Christmas wishlist for myself this year… and I’d love your help. If you have any books you’ve loved that helped you with things like: - understanding yourself - calming anxiety / overwhelm - setting boundaries - feeling more confident or grounded …will you share them in the comments? 🥹💛 Think of it as swapping ideas for Christmas presents we can give to our future selves. I’ll pop back in and share my favourite books around the nervous system, trauma-informed living + coming home to the body so you have some suggestions too. Can’t wait to see what’s on your bookshelf ✨

Forgiving What You Can't Forgetby Lysa Terkeurst
💛 Weekly Nervous System Check-In
Anyone else feel like the whole world has been passing around the same cold lately? 😅 Between runny noses, sleepy afternoons, and the holiday energy slowly creeping in… it feels like a lot is happening in everyone’s nervous system right now. So let’s take a tiny moment to land together. And for those doing the 21-day challenge — how’s it going for you so far? Any wins, wobbles, surprises? I’d love to hear 💛 👉 If you have 5 seconds, share using an emoji: 🌿 Regulated / steady 🔥 A bit activated 🫩 Low energy / heavy 🌪 Up and down 🤷‍♀️ Not sure 👉 And if you’ve got a little extra space today: Where is that sensation showing up in your body? You can always use the body scan practice here 😉

I found a new word exhaustuwhemelated with means exhausted, overwhelmed and overstimulated all the same time . 😂 it was a TikTok thing but honestly meant so much to me at this time.
How are you feeling about the new year + manifesting?
As we move towards 2026, I’m really curious about what’s happening in your body and mind when you think about the 'new year' and 'manifesting'. For some women it feels exciting and full of possibility. For others it can feel heavy, pressurising, or even a bit… pointless, especially if past years haven’t gone to plan. Because this community is all about nervous system health and somatic support, I’d love to hear from you so I can shape what we do with you, not just for you. If you’re happy to share: ➡️ What comes up in your body when you think about the new year? (Tight chest, butterflies, numbness, calm, a mix of things… anything goes.) ➡️ How do you feel about the word “manifesting” right now? (Excited? Skeptical? Tired of trying? Curious but unsure?) ➡️ Is there one question you’d love to ask about manifesting in a nervous-system-friendly way? Your responses will really help me know what kind of support, classes and conversations would feel most nourishing for you as we move into 2026 together. ✨

I like the idea of manifesting but if I am honest I am not completely sure what it is. If I am right it is about reframing things to make them positive and therefore make a positive impact. Like losing weight for example. It’s proving that positive thinkers lose more weight than negative thinkers. When I think of the new year? I feel a little overwhelmed like I need to prepare things now. In my job I always have to be 3 - 5 steps ahead. So that I can manage people too. Plus in my shops I need to be ahead of the seasons and trends etc. it’s a lot to have in my head. Maybe I need to write it all down and prioritise
Day 2 ✨ From Dysregulation to Regulation Challenge 💛
Today we’re exploring why small things can sometimes feel enormous, and why it’s not your fault or a personal flaw. We’re also introducing your daily body scan practice. Here’s your guidance for today: Today’s Invitations ✅ Watch the Day 2 video You’ll learn about allostatic load (the cumulative wear and tear from stress) and why your reactions make perfect sense when your system is overloaded. ✅ Do your body scan (optional but recommended) Choose morning or evening. Use the guided audio if you want support. Remember: you’re not trying to change anything… just noticing. ✅ Notice any “tipping point” moments If something feels bigger than it “should,” or you suddenly feel overwhelmed or reactive, gently recognise it. ✅ Update your tracker - Your two daily check-ins - Any notes from your body scan - Any tipping point moments ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reflection Prompt (Optional) If you’d like to share: - Did you notice a tipping point moment lately? - What did your body scan feel like (even if the answer is “nothing”)? - Anything new you noticed about your internal world? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I’m here if you need support. 💛

Reflection Prompt (Optional) If you’d like to share: - Well Clara I have not had a good day. Basically I had a manger question the management of my classroom. But she did not ask me she asked my assistants. They came to me to tell me. Then my line manager came to ask me. And finally I had to write an email to justify and explain why I manage things the way I do. So after dealing with all This from the assistant caming to me to tell me so that we could explain the situation. To telling my line manager and her confirming that we were right doing what we were doing. The tipping point was when she then brought up another incident and suggested an alternative that would not work even though it was her duty that suggested it in the first place. I appreciate that this is all In code. And might seem to not make complete sense but hope you get the jist. . - What did your body scan feel like (even if the answer is “nothing”)? I already have headache and itchy eyes so having a cup of tea and relaxing for a few mins. But I will Do my body scan before sleep - I have a lot in my head. Feel - Like I need to brain dump and then rather than over analysing it just leave it.
